Real question is , how many of you will actually use it for its medical purpose? there is no doubt that as a plant , it has some soothing effects . but people miss-use it to get "high" and usually mix it with tobaco , and smoke it .

You know why pharmaceutical companies won't support legalization of marijuana? Because marijuana is natural, and you can't trademark it with your name. If its natural, that means they can't keep people form growing it in their own homes, which means people won't buy it from them. Did you know pharmaceutical companies were the people who created heroine? It was used to get people off meth, and help caughing, apparently.

It is so easy to see that Cannabis Sativa and Cannabis Indica are medicines that were put here to help us stay healthy. Hemp (The male Cannabis plant) was put here for use in industry. Hemp has over 50,000 uses. Does that blow your mind or what? Industries like Dupont, Hearst Newspaper, Gas companies and Pharmaceutical companies all helped to make this wonderful plant illegal and to keep it that way. Sadly, it is right about at the level of the average American who buys the inflammatory propoganda the government./special interests have been spreading about this benificient little herb. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion, but people need to recognize - when you say no to medical marijuana, you are forcing your opinion on others, and leaving patients left to choose between suffering and fear. What needs to happen is a conversation between doctors, politicians and citizens. Some people were educated against it, and never asked questions. This is a possible revenue stream for the health care system, and more importantly, it might make some sick people healthy.

I'm young myself and i believe marijuana should be legal because my cousin the "Good" influence of my life is in jail now because of the plant. I Want to teach people what the actual drug does to them instead of the lies that are spread like when i was in 6th grade we had D.A.R.E one of the policemen said that he was attacked by a crazed man on marijuana and how he was almost killed.
