Sigh... Sometimes I wish we could play every game we like with any console we want. When it comes to next-gen, my family only bought a Wii (and just recently)... which means it's gonna be hard for me buying any other console since they're all so effing expensive.

Yes, This is a sort of Rez sequel. Hell, they even have the same element: Eden. In the first game, you were trying to save Eden from shutting down. Now, you are trying to save Project Illuminate from viruses. Illuminate will spawn a new persona inside Eden (Ergo, Child of Eden).
