@howtohockeydotcom Can you post a video to help me out with my stickhandling? everytime i get the puck i panic and dump it in to the other end and force the icing call! can you post a video to help me know what to do in high pressure situations?
hey guys i have a quick question. im 14 years old and i know how to skate but im really rusty. i know a lot of the tactics to the game but never have really played before. do you think its to late to try hockey?
@bjoneill5455 Hell yeah, never too late to start! I was a lot older than you when I started, but even got to playing with some traveling semi-pro teams for a bit. Good luck kid!
I'm going to start hockey finally after years of watching it, I basically have no experience so what should I get first? The pad thing with a stick and puck or should I get skates first?
@GeeTARnugget Skates. Skate skate skate. Skate until it hurts and then keep doing it. You will come to a phase where you wanna throw up out of pain and missed calls on your cell - keep skating.

Is it just me or do these moves look incredibly easy but when you try them they are really hard to get past the D?

@GeeTARnugget skates its no good if you can shoot but can't skate
XXXXstreethockeyXXXX 1 year ago
@GeeTARnugget definitely skates, stick and puck. Learning to skate could be the hardest part of hockey. Skate as much as you can.

@pinkpop21 Yup, I coach 10 year olds and a lot of them skate right to the D-man and try to toe-drag them. I still see it in my men's league too.
