  • hey guys i have a quick question. im 14 years old and i know how to skate but im really rusty. i know a lot of the tactics to the game but never have really played before. do you think its to late to try hockey?

  • @bjoneill5455 It is never too late! some guys join the How To Hockey site and they are in their 40's and just starting!

  • @bjoneill5455 Hell yeah, never too late to start! I was a lot older than you when I started, but even got to playing with some traveling semi-pro teams for a bit. Good luck kid!

  • @bjoneill5455 Im in the same boat

  • Is it just me or do these moves look incredibly easy but when you try them they are really hard to get past the D?

  • Good advice.

  • how do you get an enire rink to yourself like a million dollars?

  • @teamshady04 more like knowing the Zamboni driver and a case of beer ;) This is Canada!

  • "week 3" should be out today :s

  • @Grtsss haha, went on a ski trip for two week, uploading week 2 right now!

  • good stuff, back to the basics, no fancy stuff!

  • Where is this weeks deke? I thought it was going to be a weekly deal but there was no deke two days ago.

  • I'm going to start hockey finally after years of watching it, I basically have no experience so what should I get first? The pad thing with a stick and puck or should I get skates first?

  • @GeeTARnugget skates its no good if you can shoot but can't skate

  • @GeeTARnugget definitely skates, stick and puck. Learning to skate could be the hardest part of hockey. Skate as much as you can.

  • @howtohockeydotcom thanks man

  • @GeeTARnugget Skates. Skate skate skate. Skate until it hurts and then keep doing it. You will come to a phase where you wanna throw up out of pain and missed calls on your cell - keep skating.

  • rick nash does this a lot where he just skates to the open ice insted of trying to deke

  • good stuff, this videos have really helped me a lot in hockey.

  • Great advice, Jeremy - keep the good stuff coming!

  • old video..

  • @ULikeMyVideoQc ?? I just shot it and uploaded it.

  • simple, but true. (: I see too many people try and look cool.. you dont look cool when they knock the puck away from you go down and score..

  • @pinkpop21 Yup, I coach 10 year olds and a lot of them skate right to the D-man and try to toe-drag them. I still see it in my men's league too.

  • @howtohockeydotcom oh man, took you guys long enough. i've been waiting forever!!
