thanks for the video, but I am curious why the eardrum is represented as sort of hanging like a curtain, unattached at the bottom... I've been taught that it completely seals off the outer ear from the middle ear

While I am perfectly fine with other people's beliefs, and having been a former Christian, I really believe "you will be sent to hell" is not an acceptable thing to say to someone else. If you want people to open their hearts to something with little scientific evidence and only minute proof compared to evolution, and then threaten them by telling them they'll go to hell (which, by the way, may not exist either) then I seriously don't know what to say.

Some of the names of these body parts sound rude. Pinna is alright name but:

Ossicles and even worse: Cochlea.

They do sound rude and whoever came up with those names would probably regret it now.

Very good video though, and why are all the comments about religion and science, people have different beliefs, it is offensive and isn't funny, so you guys shouldn't post things like that.

The human body has been shaped through thousands of decades of evolutionary happenings, the human started as a microorganism in the sea, and slowly evolved to land creatures, and science have proved that we come directly from the apes. Try think about it and see what you will conclude.

You know about evolution right? If you do, you would be insanely stupid not to "believe" it.

The way the ear are today are there because its the optimal ear! millions of years ago, an early mamal maybe managed to pass on its genes BECAUSE its ears were a LITTLE closer to the ear today. And that repeated itself over and over again.
