great technique - nice touch. With good musicians around you, you would definitely generate a fan base. if you are anywhere near the DC metropolitan area, I would be interested to collaborate. If not, find musicians in your area to record.

hows the action on that guitar? i had a 414ce but the action was surprisingly high, now i have a martin omjm and its still a bit high. im looking for a low and fast action i like playing with ease lol

@geet25 It was pretty low. Have you ever had a set up done on your guitar? They can be pricey with certain technicians but can really be worth it and make the action a lot lower.

@geet25 i've always struggled with actions on acoustic guitars. i have a taylor 414ce with the action at its lowest, but it still does't play like i want it too, yet it had a great sound. i also had a martin d-45 for a while. that guitar played and sounded terrific, but i couldn't do without the money it was worth ($7,500). if i were to recommend a guitar with the best action for the best price points, i would go with an ovation or adamas. they play amazing and sound pretty damn good too.

Great sound! What amp are you playing through? Also, any reason you went with the 916ce instead of the 914ce? Does it have noticeably better bass? I'm about to buy...

@NicoDeMalcur Thanks so much :) We went direct into the mac using Apogee's Duet, no amp was used for this recording. We were lucky enough to go down to the Taylor factory and try a few out. The 916ce definitely had more bass response and in my opinion was the way to go. I think its personal preference though, either would be a good choice :)
