People remember where they were when they heard Kennedy died but I remember where I was when I heard Otis died. I was lucky to see Otis life on the Stax show in the UK in north London - what a show - Otis, Eddie Floyd, Aretha Franklin, Sam & Dave, Markeys backing, Arthur Conley, Carla Thomas. Hid under the seats to try and get to see a later performance but was found.
