If a variation occurs that helps a species survive, that survival is called being "selected." That's all its is. There's no conscious selection by nature. It's a passive process. The religious are angry at us because their arguments are so feeble. Belief in the supernatural can't exist in the face of the scientific evidence. They HAVE to squelch any dissent, because if people came to reason, they would lose their grip on our minds, and ultimately, our money.
It also appears that the myths need to be propagated to ensure that they won't seem foolish. It's the old "Safety in numbers." If 85% of the public believes, then it must be true, right?

This campaign is not about getting at religion in general, it's about combating the christians who seem to think they own the place.

Talk about Islam being taught in public schools, talk about an imam leading an invocation to Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) before congressional meetings, and talk about muslim led student prayer in public schools. They change their tune pretty quickly. What they really want is only freedom of Christian Doctrine to preside, and any resistance must be stopped by the state.

just wondering who is removing some of these comments marked as offensive. The ones I read before they were removed were not offensive in the least- just stating the obvious that the wording in the TV Piece was biased against atheism. I am ticked about that. Do not remove comments that voice atheists opinion if you disagree with it- if it is worded politely. I suppose You tube might be a little biased too?

Others, like me, think a father that has his own son killed is about the most evil and disgusting thing a father can do, and I'm also not a big fan of evil.

He also raised him from the dead and set him as the King of Kings for what he chose to do out of Love God could not break his own Law and the penalty had to be paid. For the wages of sin is death God commended his love toward us that while we where guilty He died for us in our stead.

Naw this is not a war and most real believers are not affected buy this kinda stuff saddened maybe.... But it is what it is.. All will be revealed in the end. That is when the real sadness will be.. One of the two sides will be sore disappointed as for me and my house we will serve the Lord Jesus! I would rather live a believers life and find out I was wrong than to live a Atheist life and find out I was wrong!

@dmhappy2777 yea there are hindus and muslims in every corner of the world too but anyone with half a brain can see that the majority of christians are located in the west, muslims in middle east etc. And yes there are lots and lots and lots and lots of people who love jesus. 99.9% of them were brainwashed with it before they had any ability to think for themselves. How many fully functioning adults who weren't raised with it pick it up later in life? Noah's Ark only makes sense to a child.
