I have a Hummingbird 997. I don't know if the lowrance unit will be as good. I record video onto a SD card, I then use a program (HBSI Sonar File Converter) to convert it, I then watch it using YellowFin software which I downloaded.
Great videos, I'm curious of its deep water capabilities. I've noticed most of your videos range from 10-30 ft of water. Would you suggest using this units side finding imaging in say 100-200ft trolling for salmon or trout and what would that look like?
Thanks for the video. I just installed my 798ci si today. I'm looking for all the schooling I can get on these things.
