It's a proper radio friendly song now. If they had released the long version it would have been cut off early on the radio anyway. I also have the feeling that they took all the positive feedback on Memory Of You in account when making this radio version: more electronic and using vocoder. I still feel bad about what they did to Nicola's lines but it all worked out okay.

the reason the original album version is so good is because there is such a long build up to the climax of nadine's 'robots dancing alone' part after like 5 minutes (which really i one of the best moments of any girls aloud song ever) and then that break into guitars. but it really loses the tension with the radio edit. and the robot voices are just gimmicky. im so disappointed!

Oh what have they done

The album version was a potential classic - their Bohemian Rhapsody, their Dancing Queen - don't get me wrong this is still a great song but its half of what it was.

The intro is ruined, what has happened to the great line about swimming with sharks and the ending is just ... awful ... much to abrupt.

My favourite part of the song is the guitar riff after the chorus...which is only in the song by a thread...i always listen right through each chorus to hear the haunting sad riff...which i love.....
