Its estimated that as high as 1 in 4 embryos are spontaneously aborted, the woman has a late heavy period, perhaps not even realizing that she was pregnant. I don't believe a collection of cells without even a brain yet has the status of a human being. Think of all the children's lives that could be saved with this research. Children living today. How can it be wrong to help those who are already here?

Religion and in particular Christianity has always served to impede scientific progress and held humanity back. This is going to be another example.
