For example, I've met advanced individuals whom, after getting a dose of the Urantia Book, believed they were something/someone else. One guy thought he was Caligastia, another thought he was Michael. There are people who claim to be Melchizadeks, etc. Well, unless you weren't born a baby on this planet, the chances that you're anything other than human are extremely slim.

A cult has a leader that stands between the individual and God. The Urantia Book brings God to man and man to God. That is what it is intended to do. Regarding your experiences, or anyone's experiences for that matter, it is our own actions and/or reactions that do things to us, not other things, but US, our OWN selves! Blaming something else is simply not logical, reasonable or rational.
Are you sure you are reading the same book? Everyone is given every opportunity to live eternally. We have no idea of what criteria might prevail to prevent that. Only the product of our own fragile imaginations. Bet I see you there! :-)
The book says the the individual needs to prove themselves. If it gave me the oppertunity to the eternal life, i would love it.

The documentaty 'Alien Gods' also says that not everyone will go to heaven. They say, that 'those who do not make the cut, do not go to hell. They just become as they never were' What if i'am one of those?
Even Lucifer gets every chance to be forgiven and we can be nowhere near as disloyal as he was, as we are merely humans. The documentary was made by other humans and likely all wrong.

LOL, that's a great video. I'm going to watch it again. That music in the background is J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, for Flute, Violin, Harpsichord, and Orchestra (1721). I had to learn it in music appreciation class in 1980. It has obviously stuck with me. Nice piece.

I can't say if the Urantia Book is true or a hoax.
I tried the Urantia book and my experinces are pretty bad. The book triggered obsessive thoughts, just like any other cult will do it.
Because of that, i will warn you about the book. IMO it's dangerous, but there's people who like it alot.

The book is full of rules, like, if you want to survive you have to follow a set of rules etc.
You have to prove yourself to get to heaven, and that's not diety.
If it was GOD everyone will get to heaven no matter what they did. Even if they wiped out humanity and hate GOD. They are the same worth as you are.
