When I mean failure, I meant that it was going to be unpublicized, then it was leaked a day prior to it happening by WOWT here in Omaha. Granted, I never would have known about it, but it was horrible getting somewhere good to take pics. This was the best we got. It was amazing how awesome it sounded. Kind of like the heavens opened up and down came singing from the clouds. Too bad it wasn't a really flash mob. People that weren't part of the mob also got involved in the singing too
I'm glad to read your account and watch the video. I heard about the singing through my brother and drove up from Lincoln in time-- I thought-- but it was so impossibly congested it took "forever and ever" to even get off Dodge Street, into the lot and into a parking space. I barely got inside for the last of it-- I was striding through the hallway singing before I got there. I didn't know the media had clued people in. It was a tremendous sound, anyway, and a powerful energy to experience.

Regardless of the failure I heard MANY positive comments about the performance. As I was arriving I heard many people wonder what was going on.
I was a side invite as a replacement but was more than happy to be a part of it (unofficially of course) I would be more than happy to be in a more spontaneous one some day..but it's unlikely. I just don't know the right people I guess. :) I'm assuming there will be an official post from the organizer, one of the guys going up the escalator perhaps?
