I wish I had a 10th of the talent she has with that violin. Yes, Mutter is recording this for a CD/DVD (Violin Concertos), it is out now in a limited edition. And oh yeah, Happy 200th anniversary of the birth of Felix Mendelssohn (-Bartholdy) (1809-1847).

maxim vengerov's piece is at least good as mutter's.I've heard her yesterday at the southbank centre in london playing this concerto and except her dress, the concerto was quite unusuael...regarding the orchestra and most of her performance
