  • You can pinch in just like the samsung galaxy s2. samsung galaxy s2. Not the ifail.

  • JUst INSTALL UBUNTU MAVERICK OPERATING SYSTEM

THE MULTITOUCH< AND ZOOM IS GONNA BE PERFECT , BEST EXPERIENCE< AND WaAAY FASTER

  • @klebehss Doesn it only work in ALL CAPS?JuST KidDIng.

Hey, that's one of the best things about a tablet PC like this one is that you can run Linux on it! Go for your life... it's a PC!

  • wow that zoom feature doesnt look very good lol.. certainly not as smooth as Apples

  • @polaris911 who cares? When did smooth zoom become a productivity feature? I hope that smooth zoom can make you some money! Anyway, ie9 does zoom much smoother for those who simply cannot function with a non-smooth zoom.

  • @polaris911 Windows 8 fixed it, the Samsung Series 7 Slate is like having a MacBook Air with multitouch and pressure sensitivity (plus iOS and Android aren't even close to the same level, this is Microsoft Surface tech finally going mainstream, <3 Win8).

  • thanks

  • do any of the fujitsus have a stylus with eraser function at the end?

  • @tacticalking161 This one does, as do the current TH700, T730, T900 - any tablet with the Wacom Active Digitizer.

  • Your videos are good and further convinces me that a Fujitsu t730 will be a good investment.

One of my biggest concerns with taking hand-written notes all the time with OneNote is the probability that eventually, the technology will fail (i.e. HD failure/operating system/etc). What measures do you advise to ensure you practically never lose information despite a hiccup? OneNote has a backup directory, so I figure using an auto-backup app on that directory is a good idea? Any other ideas?

  • @g00dn3t OneNote Notebooks can be automatically synchronized from the web , a network file share, an external drive or USB key. All you need to do is open a OneNote notebook in one of those locations and you're backed up!

  • @oztabletpc Thanks for actually getting back to me on this - I actually did end up buying the T730. I am going to set it up eventually to syncronize with a cloud service (i.e. dropbox) and/or an SD card. I am very reliant on OneNote for just about everything now.

The only complaint is that the t730 it is a bit heavy - but it at least keeps up with my ADD-driven multi-tasking. Now, if there is a 12 inch screen hybrid that has the performance of the T730, I'll be seriously kicking myself.

  • I also have another question, when I have both touch and pen enabled, sometimes the touch part gives me unwanted feedback. What I mean is that when I am writing something with the pen, my hand usually touches the screen and feedbacks on it ie moving cursor away or drawing something. Do have have similar issues? How do you usually deal with this if you do? Thanks in advanced!

  • @deviatorz There is often a way to turn touch input off. I have programmed a hardware button to do this on my Motion Computing tablet, but from memory, I could not do the same on the Fujitsu. Do some research on the web and find out if there is a way to disable touch input (as opposed to pen input). I turn touch off mostly when I am using the tablet input panel for handwriting input.

Because you are dealing with a large screen size (12"), accidental input is more common.

  • @oztabletpc Thanks for your responses. I do know how to disable the touch functionality, but I was wondering if there's a workaround to turning it off.

One way I turn off the touch input is by command line. I added a menu item in "Fujitsu menu" and input the command line "/name Microsoft.PenAndTouch /page Touch". This takes me to the menu where you can disable touch input. Do you know how to turn touch input on/off using cmd with one click? This would be a better alternative. Thanks again.

  • @deviatorz I'm not aware of a command line switch. As mentioned, my motion computing tablet gives me the ability to set "turn touch on/off" as a physical button action... Not sure if you can or T4410.

  • I have the T4410. I was wondering do you usually use the multitouch to type? Sometimes in one class I have to draw diagrams and sometimes there's alot of text to type out. I don't want to be switching back and forth modes as I can only do that so many times before it breaks.

  • @deviatorz No, I rarely type on the touch keyboard. Handwriting recognition is much better for typing on the go... Even better, for notes, I use OneNote. You can do text conversion later if you need to, but most of the time I leave my notes handwritten.

  • I think it's hardware based.

  • @leepaul707 That's correct. You need to have a touch screen (not a pen based active digitizer) that has Windows 7 drivers available for Multi-Touch.

  • Is multi touch a hardware or software based?

I have a tablet which only allows input with the stylus, my question is

if I install windows 7 will my laptop become multi touch

  • @jackl1 It's both actually .

you need a hardware that supports multi touch , and a software that supports multi touch .

  • is there a site where you can look at the fujitsu lifebook t730 (to customise it) and is it available in Australia. If not when will it be?

  • @Timbur44 Unfortunately we do not get a build to order option here in Australia. TH700 is new available in Australia. Contact us (details on our website) for options.

  • We had the same tablet pc pal, so can you tell me something? Cuz when my little sister making a password in my laptop, she forgot the password! And we only have 1 user! Now how can we play inside the user without knowing the password?.. Please tell me! I bought it just one day ago!

  • @Wihpri77 Sorry, not sure l can help, you may need to re-image the tablet.

  • hey!! My tablet pc is the same as him!!

  • Hi iam a physician and for the electronic office patients records and to take with me to the treatment room i do need a tablet, wich do you recomend from Fujitsu?

  • @goodyones Either Fujitsu T4310, T900, T730 or Motion Computing J3500 or F5v.

  • Very good video. I rate this video.

  • Hi could you recommend me a cheap laptop with a pen for art class?

  • @wuhlei This one or the HP Tm2 are the cheapest you'll get with a Wacom Active Digitizer which you would want for art because it has pressure sensitivity and proximity sensitivity.

  • hi, thanks for the reviews, ive been confused of whether to get this tablet or Hp's touchsmart 2, im going to university next year and i need a tablet that will serve a student well.. thanks in advance (in case u answer :D:D)

  • @Abono2ta Personally I would go for the fujitsu. The non-glossy screen is nicer to write on and easier to see. It has a higher spec processor with roughly the same battery life. The weight is pretty much the same, but the Fujitsu includes an onboard DVD player (the HP has an external one in the box).

  • when u write on the handwriting correction thing does that go straight into word or something. For example would it be good for maths at school (drawing equations and formulas)?

  • multi touch on IE is not good, its so lag

  • @trongvongbankinh Maybe so, but who is actually going to use it anyway. It's a practically useless feature that everyone has to have because of Apple... With a 12" screen, you'll rarely ever need to zoom in ie anyway...

  • Nice work, thanks for the video.

  • Nice!

  • Great review. 5 stars. Man I love Windows 7!
