redford will b decent at xavier becuz he can shoot w/ range. he may not play right away, but anyone who can knock down the 3 consistently will get some playin time. the competition will get better, but teams wont key in on him. his biggest problems are his size and hes not overly athletic. u can tell he struggles when checked by quicker player who can pressure him out past the 3pt line. but what he lacks in those areas he makes up for in basketball iq. he really has a feel for the game

Brad had great statistics and I am glad he was named Mr. Basketball. He is a great player but he did play against inferior competition in high school. I don't want to take anything away from Brad but if he played in the Detroit Public School League, his statistics would have been considerably lower. I hope he can compete consistently at the Divions 1 level. He might have more success at a lower Division 1 school like Oakland University or the University of Detroit.

Doesn't look like he has great quickness. No question that he has a great shot and can handle the ball well. His quickness, size and jumping ability will limit his success at the Division 1 level. Might get some playing time by the time he is a Junior or Senior. He has been compared to J.J. Redick, the former Duke guard. J.J. Redick is alot bigger than Redford and can jump better from what I've seen. If Redford was about 6'4", I could see him having pro potential but he is to small.
