  • May be u sud have put the camera a bit further away.. cannot see or understand it clearly..

  • awesome video.it really helps me..i've always had problem with the holes you mentioned, and now im gonna have a smooth cream cake!

  • I love this video! You got the phone ringing, and I love hearing the little one in the back trying to get your attention (very sweet). At some points you appear frustrated! Still, I am super impressed! The cake came out awesome. I made a birthday cake using your technique and it came out really good. Keep doing your thing. You have a super skill. I would probably just ask if you could pull back your video next time. The shot is just a bit too tight and I wanted to see it from a little bit back.

  • Great video! Could you give me the recipe for your cake filling? Looks delicious! Thanks

  • Him--did you use a product like Frostin Pride? What is your recipe ?

  • @YOFJAB Its called pastry pride.

  • I love the baby in the background. i have a 13 month old girl and she is all over the place. I cant wait to try this technique.

  • Was the whipped cream normal or stabilized? And do you maybe know how long it takes until the whipped cream (normal) dissolves because I'm still new at decorating and I go slow so it starts dissolving. Do you maybe know what you do while whipping the cream or something so that the cream doesnt dissolve as fast? I dislike gelatin so I don't like making stabilized whipped cream.

    P.S.

Awesome video and delicious looking cake

  • Do you make this recipe yourself? I'm looking for a good one. Never tried on cakes yet but want to. Im tired of Buttercream.

  • wow! will a cake taste good with whipped cream? i never knew that it would taste good! :)

  • @juliapeace896 yes it taste really good.

  • Quando uso a espátula para alisar e dar acabamento final, passo a espátula na água quente e seco com papel toalha para depois passar no bolo e o resultado é muito bom. : )

  • the water did nothing to the sides, and who the heck would want watery whipped cream on the cake. not me

  • Hi.. is this non-dairy cream or dairy?

  • @mummyzara It says non dairy on the container.

  • when you dip your spatula in the water don't you have to clean the spatual then you smooth the cake????

  • @littlevampirele25 what's a cake lifter? I haven't seen one before.

  • @kammy26 It looks like a reqtangle piece of metal with one end curled in and it has measurements on it. Its used for a lot of different things.

  • @littlevampirele25 Yes you should it will give it a better finish.

  • WOW i love this video!!!!!!!!

    this help so much!!!!!!!!!

one thing what is the recipe to this whip cream??

    thank-you!!!!!

  • @littlevampirele25 Its a store bought whip cream made for cake decorating called pastry pride.

  • Thanks so much for this video. I had so much trouble frosting with whipped cream. Great tip on the room temp water. I will definitely try it next time. I have a question about moving the cake. I always end up messing with the frosting when I'm ready to move it. Do you have any tip on that? Thanks!

  • @kammy26 Thanks Im glad that this video helped you. When you say you are moving the cake is it to stack it or just place it somewhere else? If you are doing a one tier cake make sure your cake board is always atleast 4' bigger so that it gives you some space. If you are stacking a cake use a spatula to help you guide the cake. Hope that helps and if you have any more questions I will be happy to help.

  • @sunnysky2005 I'm not stacking the cakes. When you do just 1 tier cakes, do you use your final cake board to frost or do you transfer the cake afterwards?

  • @kammy26 you could use a cake lifter

  • It's already whipped??? Or do you need to whip it??? I have been looking for recipes for whipped cream icing...

  • @rolosport1 I whipped it myself. Its called pastry pride.

  • I use Pastry Pride also and if you are getting holes in it its because you might have overwhipped it slightly. I normally underwhip it just a tad for the top and sides and get very few holes. Then I dip my spatula in Hot tap water and dry it and smooth over any holes. I do whip it stiffer for the borders and roses or flowers or whatever you want to decorate it with :)

  • Whats the recipe for the whip cream?

P.S. shoot the vid from a different angle next time so we can see what your doing better

  • @RubyTeaCakes

Thanks. I'm going to try to post a better video next time.

  • can i have the cake recepie

  • @MrRubenLeon Did you want the cake recipe or the whip cream recipe?

  • do you have a recipe? if so I would love to have .. thank you

  • @redheadfairy2003

  • Gina, thanks for sharing this tutorial! I sooo love the light and creamy icing of whipped cream on cakes! Yum!

  • You cant cover this in fondant, right?

  • @sexxygirl66

No because it does not crust and will not hold.
