@Malibumann69 The stem and rope socket on this rig are from Rampp, and I know the bailer dart valve is, too. All of our other rigs but one, have sockets and stems from Rampp, and we buy two sets of jars about every ten or fifteen years for our cleanout rigs. We usually have our tool joints machined in Zanesville because it's a shorter drive.
They may be old,but they are still the most dependable,practical and reliable drill rig made for domestic drilling! Thanks for sharing!

did anyone tell you about hard hats? Ran a 42 for a while. Went back to Bucyrus Erie 22W s. Used some Ramp, but mostly Spang jars. Some Acme stuff.
