Ok, I know this is really unfair of me to say, but Sanae is kind of short to be playing Uranus! And her voice, while it's gorgeous, just doesn't quite fit Uranus. It's very, very feminine. Uranus has a low, husky, androgyneous voice. This Neptune's vocals are lovely and fit the character very well, but her movements lack Neptune's signature fluid grace and elegance.

@lemonsquare I love Sanae too! But her vocals fit Queen Serenity much better. If Q. Serenity ever came on stage and had her face shown, Sanae is who I would have cast in the role. As far as I'm concerned Sanae is Q. Serenity and Nao is Uranus.(I like an Uranus who makes me blush and stammer when she comes on! ;-P)

@lemonsquare Actually, Sanae provided the vocals for Q. Serenity in the song Over the Moon. If you listen to it, you can clearly tell that it's Sanae there. She sounds absolutely beautiful.

Nao is the best uranus ever...But Sanae was de 1º, and she rules...I love Sanae, her Haruka is different, it's elegant and soft...Nao was a stronger Uranus, more masculine.

they're both too fat and short to be uranus and neptune, and there dresses are too short, though these actresses are pretty, they cant pass as sailor scouts.

I think the only thing that bothers me about this Neptune is how she carries herself. I can understand nerves from a first performance, but she's a little too stiff for my liking. Honestly though, I think her vocals suited the role more than the majority of other Neptunes.

I just realized something... why is Uranus referring to herself using Watashi. Uranus normally use the more masculine Boku to refer to herself.. It's not as weird as had she been using Atashi (Which is a femeine word for oneself) it's still kinda odd then again it could be do to her acting more formal for introducing herself... Meh...

It's true that the costumes they're wearing aren't usually flattering, but obviously we don't have the same definition of the word "chubby".

Still I can't say I really like this neptune. She kinda has this "tough" look about her. I don't think she portrays the elegance of Michiru very well. As for Sanae-san though, thumbs up! :)

No, not really! She may not be as skinny as Sanae, but she's definitely not chubby! She just doesn't look sooo thin because she has big cheeks, but she's thin on the arms and thighs.

I think its the skirts or something xD also she has a round face but that dosn't mean shes chubby lol

and as for the acting I like their singing a bit more then Nao and Yuhka but as far as everything else goes Noa and Yuhka pwn all <33

They had to make the costumes like this because they had to be distinguishable and flashy.Otherwise ppl wouldn't be able to see them well if they were sitting way back. Don't forget this is a musical ;)
