lol, someone from FOX saying that NBC is a "ridiculous operation from top to bottom"?! What was that old saying about the pot calling the kettle black?
Im pretty sure stewart listened to cramer, and cramer being human made a mistake, stewart lost money, now he says is not a game. cmon, john stewart is a comedian, what tha fuck does he konw about stocks.
This had nothing to do with Obama and initially only partly to do with Cramer. The Daily Show made some criticism of CNBC and that they had been saying to buy in companies that failed horribly shortly after and had CEO's on their network saying everything is fine in their failing companies while the people on CNBC asking them complete softball questions. Cramer happened to be the only one that took exception to the criticism and claimed that wasn't the case and was why this interview took place.
Wow Bill. That was SUPER Edited. Like Stewart didn't say Fuck you like that I don't remember it being like that. And Cramer told people to buy some shit that was going out of business how freaking unresponsible is that?!
All the news shows suck. No one is the middle man anymore. They're either left or right. It's a shame that ALL NEWS NETWORKS, not just Fox, but CNN, NBC, and etc give their own skewed version of the news. It's even more atrocious that Journolist was a bunch of liberals trying to brain wash the masses into believing what they wanted them to believe in. At least Fox news is up front about what they're doing.
You all just can't stand a dissenting facts and reports about the Obama admin. You only hate Fox because it's the ONLY cable network on television that reports the stories that MSNBC, NBC, and CNN conveniently don't report. That's why their ratings are so terribly low.
NEWS ARE NOT TO SAY 'DO YOU BELIEVE', BUT DO YOUKNOW, IF A NEWSCASTERS ASKS THE QUESTION DO YOU BELIEVE, then you know its a waste of time and they are trying to communicate with the limbic part of the brain which governs emotions not facts. All these strategies are the same, I will emotionally engage U and then present the facts, EVEN though it is the limbic part of our brain with which we make almost all our decisions. This is deceiving interviewing using low brow non-intellectual strategies.
since when is this shit news? Listen to NPR. Seriously. Fox really wants you to just hate everything about Obama, or any democrat for that matter. It makes me sick that there are people out there eating this all up. This "story bending magic" that fox has going on is one of many reasons why America is in a slow, downward spiral.
You gotta give it to Fox....no one twists stories better than them. Truly this is a fucking art. It was all about Jon taking down the biggest dog at CNBC. How the hell its about Obama.
"and when jim went after obama stewart turned up the heat"
UGGGGGGGGH.
what a dumbass commentator bill is. couldn't he not tell a lie just ONE time?
fox and all the other media all love to suck up to power and other people in their profession at any point. he loves to skew everything he talks about, making jon to seem like he has an agenda. HE'S THE ONE WHO FIGHTS POWER, NOT THIS Shmuck! i can't even watch anymore than that, he failed in the first 10 seconds. fuck your viewers, bill.
In the first 10 seconds, Bill suggests that Jon assumes Cramer is incompetent. This is a wrongful suggestion. During the interview John expresses that Cramer knows full well what is going on but he doesn't talk about it on his financial show.
Two seconds later, He suggests a motive for John to be angry with Cramer, for attacking Obama. This is wrong. What it does is portray Jon as a "leftwinger", or a "liberal", and every time Jon comes on the show his audience becomes "stoned slackers".
@Kubenzi86 O'Reilly is trying to make an imagined fact out of supposition. He, like all good TABLOID NEWS professionals, as Fox hires, never says something directly so they can be sued, you will notice they always say it in the form of a question. He said that Stewart said the guy was incompetent. Most people missed that, Stewart didn't say incompetent he said that he lied. The smoke screen was, "Don't you think that there is a political agenda?" What he can't say is that there is one.
I love how bill o' reilly bullies the 2 women into saying things only he wants to hear. Fox news is bull shit, Nbc is bull shit, if you want dependable news these days look towards the internet or comedy central.
@SIXCHA Fox News is better known these days as FAUX NEWS, because of their owner, Rupert Murdoch. He has never made any pretense about his rewriting news stories to be outlandish in order to sway public opinion. He started working for his father in his dad's TABLOID NEWS business and hasn't changed much. Fox News is no different than the Enquirer. You will notice they ask questions instead of make statements when they lie so they don't get sued.
@bobolob He would like to discredit Stewart to his viewers and confuse the issue by saying Jon Kramer incompetent when what he actually said was that the whole station lied. CNBC is owned by G.E. who always donates money to the Republican Party for business purposes. MSNBC is owned by Microsoft and you would think Bill Gates would be more liberal but he votes for the Republicans because they give the most tax breaks for the rich corporations.
@SCJohnson77 It's cable news and even Bill O'Reilly doesn't consider his show a news show and he really doesn't even consider himself a journalist so much as an analyst. That 10 million number is an extreme exaggeration. He maybe gets 4-5 million regular viewers, which yes is much more than his competitors but in the grand scheme of things is not that much.
@SCJohnson77 I am so sick of hearing you fucking Fox zombies always claiming that Fox News is the best news channel, simply because they have the highest ratings. You know what the best selling car of all time is? The Toyota Corolla! The Toyota Corolla is not the best car ever made! It is just a well marketed piece of shit! Just like Fox News! Now STFU!
@sonnyblack0870 Yes, why else does he get off so badly every time NBC does anything? O'Reilly's a schmuck. He wasn't hired for an NBC job long before his Fox News gig. It would be one thing for Bill-O to feel vindicated that MSNBC doesn't do as well but he takes it WAY too far to a disturbing level.
The reason Jon Stewart went after CNBC was because Rick Santelli called homeowners "losers." Stewart was saying that you can't criticize homeowners when you work for a network that lies/is constantly incorrect. He didn't go after Cramer until Cramer made it about him. There was no political component.
No, Cramer did not go after Obama. Jon Stewart didn't even go after Cramer- he did a piece attacking Santelli, because he said something absolutely moronic about homeowners who spent too much money being responsible for the recession. In turn, Cramer took it personally, and it wasn't untill he went on Morning Joe, till it was escalated. This was not a partisan confrontation, AT ALL. POLITICS WERE NOT INVOLVED! IT WAS A FINANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY DISPUTE!!!!!!! For chrissakes....
I dont expect him to go after them as he went after Cramer, but if he is so pissed off about the current financial crisis then why not blame all the top players in the game including Democrats and that would sound more like unbiased agitation. I have not seen Stuart even mentioning any Democrat responsible for this meltdown.
Oreilly keeps pushing and keeps pushing, "political component?" "political component?" like he's spoon-feeding the gaping idiots who want to agree with him. What a pathetic angle. And the women on his show are trying to tell him "No, not really, Bill".
Your post and about the last 7 as well are right on about Orally. I cant believe the news actresses didnt bow to his pressure to agree with him. He really is pathetic and soooo bitter about being criticized(mostly by Olbermann). His program is totally unwatchable since Olbermann's show has taken off. Its just about him trying to promote his vendetta against what he calls "smear merchants/gutter snipes". Hes such an embittered egotistical jackass, period!
because "cable news" has been condenced down to a cat fight for ratings at best. There is no news after 4:00pm on any of the News networks. What is sad is that Comedy Central has more ethics than MSNBC, FOX, and CNN after 4:00.
Here we go! obama's in office 7/8 week's when this aired and they're claiming he's a disaster. Bush was in office 9 months when 9/11 happened and they claim it was'nt his fault, it was clintons. How anyone cannot see the double standard and hypocrisy of fox news is beyond me.
Jeez discon, just because I wrote my name in cursive in Jizz across your late mothers forehead is no reason to attack O'Reilly, it was me that caused the difficult removal of my dried jizz from her corpse due to my sperms tendency to burrow into skin cells and set up shop.
O''Reilly is just following Fox's/News Corp conservativie talking points and spinning this into an political issue which it is not the truth is people have lost money and it doesn't matter if you are Democrat or Repulican cause we all have lost money and Jon Stewart is addressing CNBC's lack of critical reporting and analysis of the banking industry.
you women need to answer the qusetion with one straight answer. stop duck diving the question, he's on the same network as you...... Thats why people hate reporters they ask the big questions but when some one asks them..... they have a hard time answering... (listen from 5:37 and on.......
As long as we have red necks and religious fanatics, Fox will unfourtunately survive. Stewart needs to take Fox to task, espessially the idiot Hannity. LOSERS
O'Reilly loads all of his fucking questions, when any of his interviewees begin to stray off it scares him- however for everyone saying he bashed stewart watch it again for the 1st time i think he had jon's back
lol "so your both happ, your both Stewart fans" Bill sounds like a guy in high school who's jealous of the girls liking the nice, intellegent guy instead of himxD Bill, did'nt get the point. Was'nt about Obama,
For one bill o'reilly shouldn't question ppls motives over shit like this. so what then everytime a obama supporter picks on someone it's political. That being said maybe bill is picking on Stewart because he is politically motivated. Don't question ppl motives listen to their words.
Yes. This had nothing to do with politics or Obama. Anyone who thinks that clearly didn't watch the interview. This was about ethical responsibility of financial reporting. And Stewart didn't just suddenly start attacking Cramer - he ran that segment on CNBC after Santelli canceled. For some reason Cramer was dumb enough to take the bait and try to fight with Stewart, which obviously did not end in his favor.
O'reilly isn't attacking Obama. He's saying that even though Cramer has been spewing nonsense for a long time now...that Jon Stewart didn't go after Cramer until Cramer attacked Obama recently. He's just trying to figure out Stewart's sudden motivation to go after Cramer...and why he's directing his attack on Cramer rather than Rick Santelli for cancelling an interview or CNBC in general for its disingenuos financial reporting.
Stewart routinely goes after Obama, and for Billo to assume that he was defending Obama in his attack is just plain wrong.
Also, Stewart doesn't dislike Cramer...that's abundantly clear in watching the show last night. "It's not about you" Jon said. It's about CNBC not telling the truth about Wall Street. Cramer's just the only guy with the balls to face the music and answer for it.
It's not surprising that Bill talks out his ass on this, because that's pretty much what he always does.
You're right but last month all of cnbc went after obam's tax inc on capital gains like crazy. I have no doubt that pissed jon stewart off. I agree with stewart but thats a fact.
it's not a fact unless your definition of a fact is "whatever i deem to be true because of some observations i have made that clearly have some connection to this truth i just concocted"
O'reilly got it wrong again. It's not about obama and it's not about Cramer. It's about the incompetence of the CNBC network.
Most of the hosts on CNBC blame "those losers who can't afford their mortgages"; when the real fucking losers were the CEO's that CNBC gave passes to while encouraging people to hang in there - all the while knowing they were leveraged 36:1.

O'reilly...what a moron.

Good call pras. I believe that is exactly what he'll do...AND he'll become a real problem for the financial world that's blowing smoke.
