Hey can someone HELP? I am having problems with the audio being out of sync with the video when I convert and compress .vob files ripped from a DVD using DVD decrypted my .vob files play just fine before I start the process but some of them randomly come out bad. I set the nitrate calculator to 1400mb for compressing and I use the general video xvid profile for conversion. I have trobleshooted for hours by changing the audio and video codec settings. Is there a way you can ensure the file size still stays small?? Because often when I convert a video it goes from 53 MB to 380 MB!! It jumps size which is a little irritating!

When you go to preview it before converting. Will it show the diffrent quality's as you preview it, or do you have to convert it in order to see the quality? See i used (Video Basher) to get a video off myspace When i converted it the quality was very terrible

you would need a separate video editing program to do this, while you can extract the audio from the video using ImTOO Video Converter. You would need a separate program to exchange the audio tracks, something like Sony Vegas or Soundforge.

ah, great question. This is very normal. Video Converter 6 with Cuda is about 5 times faster than version 5. In some cases it would only use 20-25% of GPU during conversion. We are constantly trying to improve this rate, hopefully in future upgrades, you will be able to utilize a higher % of GPU.

oh, ok. i have another question too, on my movies (after conversion to mp4) the audio is faster than the video. like they do not match up.

in a movie someone would say something, the audio would work, but the video part that matches up with the video is like 10 seconds late, why?

Modifying the Frame Rate in the advanced features will fix this, but I need to know your original file format so I can give you some values to enter in. Different formats have different values which are more stable.

it has one fault, it sends your cpu all the way to 100, but its the best though, it does that so it can convert faster by utilizing more cores on the cpu. theres a way to set how many cores it can use. you have to have good cpu and ram to use this converter. :D

To clarify, he means this software will push your cpu to 100% to maximize the conversion speed, and yes, if you have a dual core cpu, you can choose to only utilize 1 core . (it doesn't really push it to 100% )
