  • hallo I have got the same car .

And I just put in the hpi flux (fire storm) motor set. (Castle creations)

Its runs great not to fast but a lot faster than the stock set-up.

En lots of power with a 8000 2s 2p lipo.

    Unlimited wheely's.

    Watch my video for this.

    Keep it Up

  • i have this car, it's awesome :)

  • I gues you have upgraded the diff`s?

Cause, with alu krone pinion you wouldnt last long:=)

  • COOl dude, I reckon you should swap the GTB and 3.5R to the HV running a 11.1V Lipo, you will have even better result! :)

  • You are absolutely right. I made a mistake buying the 3.5R :( Is there anything else (cheaper) than the HV but similar capability?

  • Maybe you can list the GTB and 3.5R on Ebay, you might be suprised by how much you can get back! :)

  • Put it on eBay and say you want to swap it for a HV kit. I bet there's someone who have the HV but wants a GTB/Velocity for there buggy or something like that. A 3.5R for the HV4.5 is a fair trade in my opinion.

  • you could keep the 3,5 and only buy the hv max esc, put it on 3s lipo and that will work.

i do the same but whit a 4.5 and 5.5

  • How the hell did you get 9000 mah?

  • I used two 7.4 4500mah lipo packs in parallel. It was awesome :)

  • nice video. i have the same stock car , if you want ,you can see my videos in my space.i m having a lot of troubles with post.diff. , i have changed 4 diffs(1 of them was in high resistant carbonium)!!!!!! and i m thinking to sell my car.have you got the same truoble with diffs.?

  • Kyosho Inferno diffs are a direct drop in and when properly shimmed are bulletproof.

  • thank you , but have you already tried kyosho inferno diffs on a twin force?if yes , how does it works?thx

  • Not personally, but many people on crawling sites like RCCrawler have. They are a direct drop in as well as many other 1/8 buggy diffs. People are running these in 20 pound rigs with 2hp outrunners and the axles are holding up fine.

  • dude, nice truck, kicks the crap out of my traxxas bandit, lol

  • fucking awesome

  • A 3.5R with a 2S LiPo!? That's crazy! You're top motor RPM is 88200 with a fully charged pack! I can understand the overheating but, I'm surprised it doesn't vibrate apart, lol.

  • what gear ratio are u using?

  • Stock spur gear with 15T pinion gear. That's the lowest that will fit with the stock mount, unless I get a bigger spur gear - don't think there is one. :( The current setup will overheat the ESC in about 3 mins.

  • You need to grind the mount a bit. Doing that repeatedly isn't good for your electronics.

  • gear it up more, u have alot of bottom end, go little hir in the pinon gaer it should not over heat as much.

  • sorry about the spelling
