You can't erase saves without hardware that would void your DS warranty i.e. homebrew. I got this game because it reminded me of how much I loved playing Wizardry V on the SNES.
The more I watch gameplay footage, the more I like the game...but as much as I tried, Etrian Odyssey ended up wearing me out. Im aware these games cater to a very specific fan base, but I can't deny its charm as even though the game is hard as all hell, I'm still intrigued.
Plus, these types of games are designed to cater to a very specific fandom of gamer. It uses the dual screens for layout, but that's it. For what it sets out to do and those who will play it need, that's enough.
Dont understand why i get -8 spam becasue I disagrew ith something. I ove Atlus, becasue they make really inovative games (Rondo of swords), but i was just saying I wish they would make a game that takes advantage of the DS's capabilities that's all. I have several Atlus games, and love them all: Etrian Oddessy, Izuna/Izuna 2 (Oh god this is an awesome game!!!), Luminous Arc (YES!!), so don't negative me for having an opinion. That's not fair. :(
Of all those you just listed, the only games Atlus itself actually made was Etrian Odyssey - and that was Atlus of Japan, keep in mind. Atlus USA is just a group of localizers. This was made by Success (Along with, I think, a couple other games on that list).
If you're looking for an Atlus game that makes full use of the touch screen, go buy Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2
looks like Wizardy, awesome!

This! Can't wait for this game, even if it's absolutely atrocious it'll be worth it purely for the soundtrack.

This is only a tiny selection of their releases.
