  • Good video, but tbh, i know a few racers and I find it hard to believe that this particular video was taken from a track novice of only 2 trackdays. Might just be me being cynical though

  • @paulmac63 I can 100% assure you both of us had only done 1 trackday before this :)

Thats not to say I haven't rode on the road everyday for 8 years doing ... silly things ;)

  • great riding mate.

  • And also real nice skills on that 7r too! Way to hunt!

  • That 7r is wicked in the corners! The 10 pulls in the straights but the 7r is a frikin track legend!

  • @blacksonne19 Cheers :) 7r is a tool for carving up the track! really recommend them!

  • @FalconEvo3 thats you on the 7? damn you can ride! im ok but i wouldnt have a chance keepin up with you! as far as the 7r goes i dont think theres a better cornering bike out there! at least not one that ive ridden anyway! keep up those skills1

  • i chopped the 7R in for an R1 which was a mistake, now i'm using an RC8R :D much more fun!

  • I just sold my K2 and its a similar story up in the hills here where i live...i just used to hunt and hunt with it. they are pretty amazing bikes. im riding an RC51 now.

  • @ericzanutto sweet, have an RC51 at the moment. Its not a patch on the KTM RC8R though ;) need to sell the RC51 and buy something more suitable for the daily commute!

  • @FalconEvo3 the RC has been great so far for me commuting...compared to my 7R K2. I only commute for about 15 miles but some times it takes an hour depending on how far i have to lane split. not too fond of the fuel economy but you dont buy a bike like that for economy anyway. what do you plan on getting for a commuter?

  • the riding kept me immersed in this vid. Good hungtin mate ! I Wish I could ride like you. Registered myself for 4 days of superbike school uk...maybe that will turn around my fortunes :P

  • @roalme00 Im sure you will fella :D Just keep at it! you gonna be doing trackdays on a zx7r?

  • @roalme00 How much did that cost an where at?

  • @roalme00

How much did the school cost you and were is it ure going??

  • nice riding by the ZX7R rider!!

  • @mrwezg thanks mate :D riding an R1 now.. still miss the zx7r.. I fancy building a zx7r with a 836 stroked motor and stripped of all the un-neccesary weight

  • @FalconEvo3 I have a p-4 love that bike so much beyond smooth especially for rode riding, tested the new zx10R wow what a bike beyond easy and just damn fast! The boys for PB bike mag have done alot of weight stripping from the 7R always brilliant watching them especially yanagawa back in the days under gunned but still mixing it with the best!

  • @mrwezg yea, loved the old 7r blasting around with 150bhp! someone stripped an ex wsb bike down awhile ago on the redmonkey forums.. gutted :( would of loved to buy it whole if I had the pennies!

  • What camera set up were you using on the bike - the quality is excellent and looks a lot better than the PV500 system i use on mine ?

  • I was using a GoPro Wide at the time of this footage.

I had to knock quite abit of quality off the video's to make them viable to upload to youtube :)

I'm looking at replacing it with a GoPro HD this spring and getting some new footage around Cadwell/Oulton

  • Im trying to get to grips with a TVL520 bullet cam and PV500 Solid State Recorder - the results are crap compared to yours - check out my on board footage round oulton! - just cant seem to get it set up right at all - footage is really pixellated and blocky... :o( and if i upload it on to UTube - unless i run it through DivX first - it loses the audio...

  • Great camera angle!!!

  • Doing well there, mate. Making a lot of the other inters riders look like they should be in the beginners };-)) Bet a couple of them cacked their pants when you came past with a couple of inches to spare 'til the edge of the track.

  • nice track, nice riding, nice video...

    you lucky Brits...:)

  • Cheers, lucky for tracks... not so lucky for weather!

Will soon be at OultonPark again, hopefully with a HD camera :D

  • fast as fook in a straight line them 10s

  • yeah man, i got one last week. they're a fuckin animal of a bike

  • very cool man, looks fun!

I really want to do a track day in the future!

  • Nice riding!

Good fast laps times aswell. I'll be back at Oulton on the 24th Aug, can't wait it's ace ain't it.
