  • quite sad.

  • I DO NOT SEE WHY IT SHOULD TAKE A WHOLE YEAR TO RETAKE AN EXAM ----WASTING TIME

  • i think the school should be held accountable, it is them who register stutents for the KNEC.

how comes in the last minute is when they discover that names are missing.

knec is also too strigent..there should be a reasonable alternative to help such students, eg by giving them alternative papers.

  • Repeat, I hope they understand what the kids will undergo to repeat, then the parents have to pay school fees another year, this should not happen.

  • wewe msemkamili...ths is nt a good language to use.hv u ever bin thre ad ukatomwa matako yako,by the way are au gay?..stop ths rubbish ad think big..i think the best language is to tell the so calld kneck to follw ths things seriously, coz it happen every year.period.

  • 7kimani UK ndio watu wanaoana kwanza ama ni wewe tumeona kwa gazeti juzi umeolewa na mwanaume mwingike kei wewe

  • ma fred....i hv no words to you....just wishing u well.u are the winner.

  • I'm surprised Mr. Wasanga has come out as a very brilliant leader. He was a very quiet teacher and very reserved teacher while at Machakos School. Conglaturations!!

  • i am hoping that you are just being sarcastic.

  • No. I'm serious. Mr. Paul Wasanga was a very popular teacher but reserved too. He has come out very good. I really am proud of him! The militia who took students and made parents cry is not his business. Kenya moja!

  • Well, I doesnt matter whether he was popular; there are these girls and others elsewhere that will not sit exams cos some degenerate people have pocketed their registration fees. For him to say there is only 1 option of repeating does not help the students (its not the students fault either). Why does KNEC just sit there as as if they do not need this money? Why cant we have multiple exam occasions in a year so people who miss the initial exam have a chance?

  • I hear you. But remember the KNEC advertised the candidates and gave a grace period for the candidates and parents, members of public like you to screen the candidate name before the whole thing was sent for print. It's a tendeous process and when you do this one has to be careful to be fair across the board. There is always next year. However, whoever squered the money and demonized young girls should pay big time!

  • Yessir!

  • a fair suggestion...

  • He is cool as cucumber...he didn't throw out chairs and overreacted like Atwoli. Calm and collected, that is my style.

  • Haahaaah Judiciary in Kenya or Swirtzerland? don't expect immediate attention. I think KNEC, Ministry and gvt are in a position to make a final decission.

  • Emotions and misguided anger will not solve the situation....courts are the only option! That's where you take your grievances.

A judge can order KNEC to have these candidates sit for the rest of papers.

But acting here like ignorant buffoons and wasting time pointing fingers will not help them kids!

It's the Law, take it or leave it!

  • Talking about courst, you know very well how it works in Kenya. It'd take years for it to be settled in court, but if the pupils repeat the class it'd be faster. Pathetic!!

  • JGitau: There is filing of a case under a certificate of urgency. The case would be heard ASAP if not the same day. Throwing tantrums and threatening to beat up teachers is a primitive reaction...just like in the last elections. Common sense here will help. Already precious time has been wasted bickering.

My People, JG, are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6.

  • You must be a buffoon yourself if you think people should not express their views because it does not help the kids.

  • Have a nice day!

  • I watched this matter with tears and disbelief. This is not just about " who did not do what in time". The government of Kenya and the Ministry of Education in conjunction with KNEC need to get these girls and boys whose names did not make it in for registration for whatever reason to get registered on the spot and be allowed to sit for 2009 examinations. It is a shame and a curse upon a nation that we should watch with brazen indifference as our youth are traumatised and do nothing about it.

  • Ministry of Education should produce whoever registered the School incase there was for the refunds. I can't just imagine paying double school fees in that CONMEN HIGH.

  • yes, so f...d up hata kale ka maziwa ka before hawapati

  • Hata this form of examinationya kucram bila actual knowledge is outdated... 8-4-4=....una overload & overwhelm watoto bure..na mtaani hakuna kazi related to hiyo syllabus ..ndio sababu watu wanahamia majuu ASAP

  • Parental negligence. Sue the principal and see you next year. That's the law......and ignorance is not an excuse, sorry!

  • all aspects of kenyan life are corrupt. it is sad.

  • Ruto is to blame for all this. It's the militia which took the money for financing a stolen election related violence. Ruto must go!

  • kweli?....yu back to ur old tricks! I know!

  • lol. It's true. How do you explain it for a guy so bold in getting the money from mamas until they cry mwai mwai. The so called corrupt principals must have a militia leader who they share the loot with and get away with the whole thing. The only militia leader who comes to my mind with this kind of power is William Ruto arap Samoei or Uhuru Kenyatta cum kibaki and his clan. otherwise how do you explain it?

  • This is all rubbish! How can someone do this? And all Wassanga can say is that they repeat! Why must anyone pay to sit an exam yet the govt purports to offer free education. Most of these are poor people that struggle to raise the fees!!!

  • STREETBOY !! Females being weaker sex I highly believe that most of them will drop out before next years exam because of this dissapointment. Although it has happened BUT the KNEC has powers to help them out. Enrollment was done in Kenya and the exams just started what's a big deal? anything is possible . All these are happening because of corruption, Schools keeps on mushrooming for the sake of getting rich quickly which's Ministry of Education's failure as well.

  • Sikukuu, sad but i have to agree with you....this is terrible.

  • this is shocking I have no words to express my self. Kenya has really gone to the dogs.

If I was this sleeping president I would have fired everybody at the Kenya national exam council and the ministry of education.

  • This wasanga guy is full of shit. Does he really know what pain these girls are undergoing, eti they have to repeat next year. Where will they get the money for the exams? I really feel bad coz this happens every year. Someone cons pupils out of their money. I think the ministry of education should thoroughly vet these 'private' schools that keep on mushrooming every year. My heart goes out to these students.

  • This is heartbreaking, imagine working hard all year only to be told you cant sit the exam. I am sure if it was your daughter Mr wasanga, you would have done everything in your power to see that she does that exam. come on man have a heart

  • thats the most sinicular shit i ve ever heard no these council is lazy he should stand up do something no shit you ass on the chair

  • There a number of tangetial issues here:

    1. All candidates should receive a valid receipt/certificate confirming registration. It's not the parent's duty to go through tons of records to confirm.

    2. The students with issues should still sit the exam while KNEC irons out the anomalies. This' someone's future here, not a driving test.

    3. The pp resp for registration, across the chain shd be accountable - from teachers to KNEC officials including Mr Paul Wasanga... so called CEO of KNEC....

  • Agreed, this is not a driving test really. I mean, someone should still be able to do the exam. Grading can be delayed until confirmation!

  • lord have mercy,D ni mtaani.love D's gurls,no need to cry over split water though, just bought some more time to study for the next year test.
