  • cont. me that it's a migraine, the way he acts & he points to his forehead when showing me where it hurts. Sometimes he points to his entire head all around the front & back. One time I gave him ibuprofen along with some chocolate & a soda with caffeine & in an hour he felt much better. Can this all be sinus or can a migraine be falsely diagnosed as a sinus infection?? I feel so bad because every now & then he's in so much pain, are there pain meds for children with bad headaches????

  • if there are any medical professionals reading this I could use some advice. I have a 6 yr old son who for the last few months has been experiencing severe headaches every now & then, not every day. Both my husband & I are migraine sufferers. The last 2 episodes of severe headaches the doctor said it's a sinus infection. He was in the er tonight w/ a high fever & a terrible severe headache, some minor congestion. Again we were told it's a sinus infection. His demeanor alone always says to

  • I had the priviledge of shadowing Dr. Gladstein for the summer. He is an amazing person and has helped reinforce my love for medicine.

  • this is pretty good
