  • Can you really blame him? Even if he hits quads on the flop Daniel would still make him fold his hand somehow lol

  • Poker WITHOUT idiots is not poker... Poker pros make a living off bad players.

  • In Negreanu's book (the first one) I think he actually advices bad players to use your all-in against better players. That way, your decision has been made and they can't manipulate you or scare you or anything. He also emphasises betting large pre-flop. (I could be wrong here -> can't find my copy of the book atm) But dude: you NEVER say: "that's poker" to a pro poker player... That's just silly...

  • online players who want to win some millions

  • @RedWingsFan931 I think it's actually just you who is the dumbass.

  • @Fantasy23Legend Not true if someone doesn't know how to bet its not real poker

  • @lsan6833 Bleh it all depends on definition. It's still technically poker, yeah, but I agree that it's hardly playing the game.

  • Anything that happens on the felt "Is Poker" I cant stand Negreanu. The players are just afraid to play a hand against a pro.

  • I think its obvious they had pocket jacks. You feel like you can win something with them, but you sure as hell don't won't to have to figure out how.

  • @TaaastyBurger Yeah probably -- that is the kind of move people will do with pocket J's..

No one likes to play pocekt J's

  • @badpanda84 Even with Jacks, moves like this win will either win a tiny pot or send you on the next Greyhound out of town.

  • @grizzlygarner True and I totally agree -- its a bad play to push with Jack's like that.. but that is typically what alot of bad players do.

  • чувак ставит олл-ин 5000 из-за 300 фишек...

  • 150 to 10.000 =)))))

  • Only bingo idiots and total morons go all in with nothing in the pot! It's the stupidest play in poker. At best you win a couple measly blinds; but usually you get called by a better hand and lose everything. Do you hear this you Pokerstars imbiciles?

  • risk 5000 to win 300

  • i like when people misspell lose and immediately call someone an idiot after doing so.

  • i like daniel but i dont think he had any business making those comments here. he gets his entry to these tourneys paid for him, those guys have to use their own money. if thats how they wanna play, let em.

  • Daniel Negreanu VS Zynga Player lol

  • Daniel, sorry to tell u but , wellcome to pokerstars lol

  • thats not that bad of a raise, 2 people left in the hand, negreanu raises, you go all in, negreanu gets in your head, dont gie him a chance, raise him out the pot take his $300 and leave, also he could've bluffed negreanu in which case well done good raise, but its not the way poker should b eplayed, if played properly negreanu would win about 90% of hands.

  • @A2DaZMc what a noob... u think neagranu will risk all that in a fucking noob ? he will play his way and get to the finals...cuz he is a REAL player...

  • @A2DaZMc you're wrong. only idiots bet 5000 to win only 300

  • @A2DaZMc That's entertainment, what you just wrote there.

  • Online can you find many idiots haha

  • That's not poker, that might be how i'all play ( fishies), but that's not poker, idiot fish, ups that's called pleonasm.

  • So what? He won the pot

  • @TheDehzao he wins basically nothing. If he has a good hand he could have won more and if he was bluffing, he was risking so much for so little

  • @Winterhawk24 Agreed. But for the player it doesn't matter that in the long run he can lost, he won this specific pot against a pro, being aggressive, cause he knows how Negreanu plays his hands, that's enough for him. So yes, THAT IS POKER, bad plays should won once in a while and we as players should not judge, and Negreanu as a pro should not be angry, he should be used to that, that`s where his profit come from. Clearly it irritated him cause he didn't had any reads... Pretty stupid for me.

  • @Winterhawk24 Even though I ran from your answer... He wins basically nothing, but he could either be afraid of the loose plays of Negreanu and guarantee a small pot with his Big Slick or pair of Jacks, or try to suckout a pro just for kicks, that`s the price Negreanu has to pay. Even though the both plays are wrong, that`s what makes poker funny, no reason to judge it here.

  • @TheDehzao lol he won 300.... thats nothing

  • @4646asdfasdf

    its 300 you stupid fuck

  • Comment removed

  • Daniel is 100% right. I can't Stand those fukin retards who immediately go all in. I LOVE watching them loose. Fukin idiots

  • @AMGRULEZ Fukin idiots?? How about learning some English? It´s fucking idiots!!

  • @AMGRULEZ Thats why I hate the Russian players...

  • @AMGRULEZ lose*

  • its ok to be arrogant if ure as good as him

  • arrogance.

  • That guy - not Negreanu - is the perfect definition of the word 'donkey'. Raising 300 up to 5000? Seriously?

  • @04AA2009 well maybe that's his strategy, if you're an amateur playing a pro, your best chance of winning is by trying to force him into a situation where he might end up flipping a coin against you or at least be gambling pretty significantly. Otherwise you're dead. That's what I'd do, re-raise him preflop insanely whenever there's a chance, if I were not a pro.

  • @dannymaclamp but thats not playing poker... if u dnt wanna try 2 beat the pro at their own game then y r u playing it? poker is supposed 2 b a fun, psychological game, when u make it purely luck its just boring and irritating for the rest of the players

  • @abaghaffar yeah but if someone wants to fork over the buy in they can play however they want to, the casino wants their cut of the tournament, more players equals bigger cut. It's not about fun at all really, poker is big business it's about money.

  • @dannymaclamp ur off topic, we r not talking about the casino, we are talking about the players on the table playing the game. Of course the casino dsnt care about how u play as long as u bought in, but the players cannot care less how the casino profits from it, they are there for the game. and ya sure to the pro its a living, of course among other things, but even the pros play because they enjoy the game, so should the amateurs

  • @dannymaclamp slow-rolling, setting up complex traps, bluffing, picking the right spots to make a play and the right spots to fold, position play, all while trying to read your opponents bet-sizes, tendencies, reactions, etc, that is poker. when some1 just shoves for a ridiculous amount, that is simply "lets see who gets lucky between us" and it all goes down to the cards, no personal input anymore. Thats y even negraneu, who knows 91034887942 times more than I do, agrees.

  • @abaghaffar even still, that plays a roll up to a point, in any tournament with a big field, the guys that go really far win a few coin flips along the way.

  • @abaghaffar man u are so right.

  • @bogdychamp thx man, i gave up after reading the last comment :P

  • @abaghaffar lol slow rolling is bad in poker.... u probably mean slow playing. Well i hope thats what u meant lol

  • @deniss420 lol, sorry ya, slow-playing

  • @abaghaffar

U make great points & I concur w/ just about all of them. Though I find "irritating" opponents by any fair means to be a viable way to get them off their disciplined play & it forces them into donkey moves/calls.

I love Negreanu;he's simple one of the greats. The betting understandably has him a lil flustered here. If an amateur sits down & beats him they're gonna need more than just skill. It seems a little "irritation" + luck would be their only real chance.

    1love

    X

  • @dannymaclamp That's exactly what he said...a donkey

  • @04AA2009 don't know much about poker, what's wrong with that?

  • @caligula476 It's a stupid raise. If the donkey has a great hand, then the giant raise will prevent Daniel from calling. If the donkey is bluffing, then he risking 5000 to win only 300. it's like going to the store and paying $50 for a loaf of bread.

  • @tiehut I understand. Basically the guy just wants to win 'something' rather then risking to get everything out of it? What would've been a reasonable raise then here? To 500?

  • @caligula476 after daniel bet 300, the maximum raise should have been 900. when being the first one to bet, you should never bet more than the amount in the pot. otherwise, you are risking a lot to win a small amount.

  • @tiehut cheers

  • @tiehut Maximum raise to 3 times the bet? The standard 3bet is often larger than X3. I agree the bet is stupid and this guy was donk. but you will often see players like Doyle and Tom Dwan make some way larger overbets to polarize their bluff range. Sometimes up to 3 times the pot.

  • @Kapser1 LOL

  • @caligula476 thats an over bet, u r risking 5000 chips and be eliminated from the torunament just to win 300 is not worth it.

  • @ELPanchoPistolas Nice to see some people know how to play poker, nice one caligula...

  • @04AA2009 That's fine, if it wasn't for those dickheads who raise big like that when the good players hold the nuts, we wouldn't win alot of money, now would we? ;)
