dont worry speechless they will do a dumbed down version of smallville for you and your retarded cohorts so you can understand the eps better just stop trying to blame the writers for your little iq
If you look back at Season 9, you'll notice that the camera would angle to show Callum Blue's lower teeth. You never saw his upper row of teeth. We finally get to see his upper teeth, and I thought they were just a smidge too perfectly straight, but I really liked them overall. I would have like to see Lois give Clark a big kiss after not seeing him for 3 weeks. Clark's shirt was buttoned to Lois's neck. She should have had it unbuttoned at mid shirt to give Clark a little something.
Yes, I do LOVE Superman and Lois Lane... and all things related to this Super-hero... that is the ONLY reason that I ever started watching Smallville and the ONLY reason that I continue watching! The most disappointing thing, I believe, about this series, is the WASTED potential of what it could have been. Esp. this final season. The PTB really, really missed the mark, imho. It should have been about CLARK and Lois and the DP and Cat Grant or whoever & the Green Arrow, other people, just NO!
@luckyjasonfan EXACTLY WASTED POTENTIAL!!! Makes me so mad watching this series just literally being flushed down the toilet!!! I don't understand what the writers are thinking, oh thats right, THERE NOT THINKING!!!!!!! To be honest they've ruined this Superman so bad!! I'll watch to the end but I don't see it being a well thought out ending or even a decent story line. The writers should be ashamed of themselves!!! How dare they do this to us!
Yeah, CB has veneers. I don't know why people change their appearances so much, when they are already "famous"... but maybe he thought it was necessary. Also, I like(d) Oliver's character A LOT more than Clark's. Until they stuck him with Chloe, Green Arrow was my FAVE character!
Clark needs to wear the glasses ALL THE TIME and it should have began in Season 8, when he STARTED at the DP!!
Tess is a Chloe replacement. And a watered-down version of who SHE used to be in S8 & S9. Pathetic.
@icrodriguez7 Well he's really more like a douche. I mean Lois is evolving but Clark on the other hand, just becomes more douchtastic as time goes on. I don't get it AT ALL!!
@speechless1021 One other thing I wish they had developed was C's love for L. We know that L ADORES C, he "is her world", "is her better half", "is her home", etc...but what about C & his love for her? Is it AS consuming? The last time C said anything that described it in any way was in HARVEST w/"she's the most imp thing in my life". Since then, nada. Is his love as devoted & intense as Lois' is for him? I would like to think so. I just wish we could see & hear it. And I bet you so would Lois.
At this rate, poor Lois will never be able to trust that Clark will come back to her at the end of the day. At any given moment Clark could be playing martyr once again & surrendering their life together again. It's a double-edged sword being a superhero. But as we & Clark learned in this ep, being a superhero's wife is an equally stressful role. I think seeing Lois endured those 3 wks in such uncertainty & pain, Clark can hopefully understand just what she suffers in his self imposed absence.
@icrodriguez7 I literally laughed out loud when Clark ask Lois , " You waited for me for that long?" Or something like that when Lois said he had been gone for 3 weeks. I was like what kindof a question is that? Like he wouldn't wait for Lois? I just had to roll my eyes. Such a dumb thing to say!
@speechless1021 Excellent point! I hope that what seems to be planned for next wk's ep where Lois is given Clark's powers by Jor-El as a lesson to them both about understanding what the other endures in their relationship, will be an eye-opening lesson for Clark about everything Lois goes thru in being with him. And likewise for her as well. If its done right it can be great. But then again this IS SV...what the hell are the odds of that, right? Let's keep our fingers crossed and pray.
In trying to spare Lois the agony of having to say goodbye, believing he is "protecting her" from having to make a decision between her Clark and the fate of the world, I believe Clark may be protecting himself as well. In not having to face a "goodbye" with Lois, Clark steels himself and makes it possible for himself to put the world first, even before his very life and happiness. I prefer to see it that way, even though I do agree with you that it is also selfish on his part.
Even though I did love this ep, I agree with you 100% that Clark should have factored Lois into his decision to possibly banish himself to the PZ forever. Yes, I understand that as the world's #1 superhero he has to be selfless and sacrificing, but he always seems very ready to surrender himself and his life without even including his future wife in his decision. Lois is always blind-sided by his almost incessant readiness to leave her behind without even so much as a goodbye forever kiss.
