@TheHuntingTerminator I have one with the same body style and originally a rotary mechanical speed control(now long gone) and if my memory is correct, I've had (and thrashed) it for five or six years and it still runs fine.

I did a quick search and came up with 1994 as the first year for the Rustler so the age may be hard to figure out. But Rustlers are tanks and great starter trucks, just wish there was a 4x4 one...
