@anthonyla45 Mine too! :(  Just 16 months later my graphic card failed. I payed it 1,300 euros and warranty expires in one year.

i have 8600m gs but i dont know which went wrong. my pc crapped something like 11 months after i bought it (i had after 4 months HORRIBLE LAG which stayed 20 sec and started every 1 minute)

my motherboard did broke on my laptop. i was pleased to hear my varanty did pay the bills for fixing it :) but now started to think... because 8600m gs is integrated to motherboard maybe it did broke :O. well now it have worked 5 months flawlesly after repair

@shotgunmasterQL Yeah its ok if you get it repaired. But normally after 18 month its fails, depending on how you used it. :P

not everyone of them fail :P its impossible. if so nvidia would have already given press confres about it. also i know dude who have had 8600m gs back when it camed out and no problems at all. also i asked about the age of my laptop from my mom and she confirmed that my laptop was over 2 years old when it did broke which is 24 months :) i remember a lot things wrong. also my varantu was expired but because this was so common problem they still made change (i had 1 year varanty)

a little overclocking and you can run pretty smooth with everything on high and resolution @ 1024x640 [no AA]

hey dude i have a dv9774ca with geforce 8600m gs 2.0ghz core duo and 3gb ram. do you know why i can't run 1.6 cs that well? i downloaded this driver and im getting about 60fps but at some points and some maps it lags and i get about 5-10fps. and on lost planet i get only 20-25fps average.. can you help me?
