Use whatever particle emitter you have then adjust the particle type and whatever parameters you feel look good for the lighting effect. distort the text with ripple effect ...animate the layer with the particle emitter to move from left to right and you can probably figure the rest out...I would suggest adjusting the particle emitter to be a litter less close to the edge so you dont see the effect going off of the layer . that would help it look a little more natural...great job you inspired me
