I just duo'd Genbu as rdm/nin(24) lol and blm/nin w/ my cousin.. we did it in 50 min and got the a. hands too ^^ good video tho.. i will solo genbu one day ^^

Oh, 50mins :o Nice speed.

I can imagine a BLM soloing it in about 30mins if you're decked out with high INT/skill gear. Genbu has 20k HP roughly, so 900~1000 damage per nuke + meds + 2hr = 10x faster than RDM.

While I wouldnt mind doing it again I no longer play FFXI. When I posted 4 months ago here I was already in the process of quiting. With all the gear I had though I hit Genbu for about 1300-1400 with T4. And AM II was about 1800-1900. It took me a few times and the 18min fight was my Fastest time and I used alot of MP restore items. My average time was about 20-30mins. I just got reallylucky with genbu wanting to do nothing but AM when I fought him that time

thats not a solo honestly.... u had help there with you(even if for TH), besides if they weren't there u would have died. So technically solo u would have just simply lost your pop set, nothing more.

Not true, if they weren't there I would've been alot more careful with that last 2% and thus would not have died. And they were there as a holding party simply because my internet decided to cut me off at 55% on my last try.

At the start? That was just for Spirit's Within for the extra damage, I changed to staff straight after.
