To be honest, I think out of all the top gear copies out there the Russians seem to have gotten the right idea... Even without understanding what they are saying, It seems to me that the presenters have quite distinct personalities. They seem a lot more lively and spontaneous than the American presenters... (oddly enough lol)

A few years ago Top Gear was the second most watched program in Russia (so i read in TG magazine). Australia (have their own), Germany (have their own too) USA (USA preferred the Brit humour than their own for this type of show) and many other country love it too, 56 country's apparently. BBC decided they would cash in hard, i.e get payed more for the rights to show our (UK) TG or pay a one off large fee to have your own with the same formula and name etc. I think the Russian TG is a good try
