The only respectable and quite enjoyable anthem of Russia. In my opinion, the only glorious Russia was monarchist Russia with all it's pros and cons. As a citizen of Lithuania (equal part of Republic of both Nation's) I have some pique in Russian Empire politics held in 18th century but I think all Lithuanians can forgive that but occupation and victimization of USSR would not be forgotten.

My grandfather was the Assistant Bandmaster in the Czar's Army, so this sort of music meas a lot to me. (I try to use the words "Czar" and "Tsar" whenever possible, when playing "Bookwork". Well, it's something, anyway!) Thanks for all the great imperial music, YouTube!

While I agree with you that atheists should be purged (and that's putting it about as mildly as the english language allows), I am not sure that I will agree that Obama has any communist ideals and cannot be compared to Joseph Stalin... Actually, I like McCain but I wouldn't want any chance of that damned Palin running anything more complicated than a farm if McCain died in office, let alone The United States of America. so sad any unfair what happend to russia and their royal family. i think it is the, if not one of the saddest things that the world has ever seen. your tsar and our king, along with the ruler or germany were all cousins, but the german chose to turn on us. we always stayed freinds. our king was going to send for a team to rescue your tasar and bring him to live in the uk. when you look at the story of the time it is really sad.
