  • forever Traci Lords (Miss Georgia)

  • I totally agree. It seems that as a teenager, we were listening to everything from 1966-1985, 1986, 1987 all the way to 1992 (although by that time I already had been married for almost 4 years and had already served during the Gulf War). We all know that grunge killed the music scene and it went down from there. I am not talking about the rare good song that has come out since. Helix, Krokus, Dokken, Dio, ..I could name 1000 or more, glad I am not a teenager today! I saw some great shows!

  • i used to jerk off to helix... i mean traci lords when i watched this video

  • Canada rocks....Vancouver sucks!

  • rickey would love this...bubbles too!

  • Brinke Stevens!!! \m/

  • the original song was from a band call crazy elefant

  • helix are from kitchener ontario canada.

  • There was also an adult version made of this video where the girls had no tops on! I kid you not. I once owned a Capitol records [i think] official promo copy which i took to my local rock club 20 odd years ago and lost!!

  • The days of GREAT rock! Brings back so many memories or lack of them! Funny how kids today are listening to all of our music because they have none!

  • I'm sure,it's not the "homosexuals",that so many here loves this music video here for.I'm probably more of a 60's music fan, than you are and my OldiesCentral channel proves that but the 80's were cool too and i even like many of todays metal bands.

  • See these guys in their prime in the 80s', great band!

  • Comment removed

  • I also thought one was Tracy Lords. Fritzy told me she was in one of there vids

  • This is an 80s rock video the way it is supposed to be!

Why do hot girls only appear in Hip Hop videos these days and why do rockers look like nerds today?

    Long live cool !

  • And you ,davethecaveman, are proof of being dumb. Why tha f*** comment music and/or video ya dont like.

  • All people has is own preferences, and you must respect that.

  • breast

  • Cool video, up until tonite the only Helix vids I'd ever seen were Heavy Metal Love, Deep Cuts the Knife and Rock You. Is that Traci Lords at 1:50? (I actually thought it was Ginger Lynn for a second.)

And for those of y'all that didn't know, this is a cover tune. A bubblegum band called Crazy Elephant originally recorded it in 1969.

  • And did I mention that I LOVE that Asian chick's hair?

  • Yes that is beautiful Ginger Lynn of Rockford IL...

  • can you imagine the director shouting okay off with the tops for the next version what a beautiful thought!!by the way traci was 16 years old.the topless version is beautiful. those girls are hott.the asian girl was on soul train.

  • Wonder how old Traci Lords is in this video!!!

  • 16!

she was born in 68 and this album came out in 84

  • Long Live 80's Rock & Roll Hair Bands

  • i love the atitude....rock N roll forver!!+

  • The very first rock show I went to! Helix was opening for Triumph at the Montreal Forum. The date is april 2nd or 4th 1985... I was 10 years old and had won tickets through CHOM FM so my dad took me and fell asleep during the show. I remember seeing the topless video, Tracy was underage? That's okay, so was I!!! I have been searching for it online for some time. There a fully naked video as well? Hum... Never seen that one.

  • 1:50 DAMN!!

  • Hey wheres the unedited version with boobies!?

  • this is not to bad for a cover song its cool

  • cover song??? I think not!

  • Sorry, it's a cover of an old "Crazy Elephant" song from the late 60's. Capitol Records never believed in the boy's songwriting abilities. Maybe they were right,...maybe not,...but Helix did several covers over their careers by "Her Majesty's Satanic Request" { the record company who fronts the money for albums & videos }, to try to crack the MTV & commercial AM/FM formats of the eighties. It's no accident this song and "Foot in Coldwater's" "Make Me Do Anything You Want" are the chosen videos.

  • UHhauhauaua, now I'm curious to listen "Crazy Elephant" song!!

Make me do ANything you want are a cover too???

WOW!!!! What others Helix songs are covers? and what the name of oroginal's!

    thanx!

  • There iz only a couple songz they did that were covers and this wawent one of them buddy soo STFU b 4 u tell a whole bunch of people that

  • Gotta LOVE THEE Rock and Roll and the females!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!!

  • Cool vid. I saw these guys live 'round about 1990 if I remember correctly, on a double bill with Trooper (Raise a Little Hell, etc.). Both bands put on a fantastic show - real balls-to-the-wall rock, no posing or trying to look cool.

  • There were 3 versions of this video: this one, topless and full nudity. I think this song was 1985-1986

  • try about 1983-4. damn, I just aged myself. fuck I'm old.

  • I feel that pain!.........lol Im right there with ya man!

  • lmfao! geez man, i love helix and im only 13..

  • I use to have the topless version back in the day of vhs wish i still had it. Even thou i know the chics are in ther fifties by now. Fuck i'm old

  • That is the greatest travisty in nature- Hot chicks getting fat, old and ugly! In the course of a lifetime, beauty is such a small window.

  • LOLOLOL

  • It's still out there if you can find a copy of a Vestron VHS video release titled "Red Hot Rock." It was a compilation of R-rated music videos released in 1984; copies pop up eBay from time to time. It contains the topless version of this video; the latter is edited quite differently. Notably, most of the women in this thing were recruited from the porn industry, making the video an almost a "whos who" of that stars of that business circa late 1982

  • I heard that Traci Lords is in it and she was underage at the time, which is probably one reason the topless version is hard to get. Technically you're buying child porn if she is underage. Not sure if that's urban or rural legend.

  • Good band - Chicks are smoking hot in this video!!~ I like the song... Nice cover!~ Hey, it's rock and fucking roll, brother!!~

  • girls bike and heavy metal this is a nice dream

  • These guys did great for small town Canada

  • this is not their greatest tune by the way

  • Yup,

    they do have way better.

  • Boys from Kitchener Waterloo Ontario Canada. They did great. Went Metal because of the times. Hard rock since 1974. Well done lads.............

  • You should see the UNCENSORED version of the video, where the girls are naked (including Traci)

  • what year was this vid released? No surprise that they would have made a uncensored version though.

  • I remember seeing Micheal J Fox on a talk show saying he played in a band named Helix but they had to change the name because there was already a band named Helix.. I think it was early 90's I seen it

  • Oh Yeah! Traci Lords metal video debut!

  • ????? Traci ?????

  • She's in the peacock suit. :D

  • I can't believe this is a Leif Garrett cover!

  • It's originally by Crazy Elephant - Leif Garrett MAY have done a version of it, but it's not a Leif Garret cover

  • I can't believe,you actually care.

  • Are you Serious?

THis is a old Sixties rock song... Leif Garrett cover may have covered it but this is NOT a "Leif Garrett cover!" The thought is funny thought ;)

  • Yeah you can't go wrong on this one...

  • Gotta love it Hard Rock and T/A They sure dont make em like this anymore ! Yo Yo Yo im a losAAA wiggAAA wannAAAbe LMFAO
