  • The next "HALL OF FAME" presentation- "Mitch Albom's Have A Little Faith"- will be seen Sunday, November 27th...on ABC.

  • This movie sounds interesting! I want to learn sign language :)

  • I am learning ASL and my teacher is having us watch this movie and one called "Love is Never Silent" That is also a good movie. Very sad though.

  • I can't take Jeff Daniels seriously. Uh-uh not after dumb and dumber.

  • Omg I am doing this play right now I am max!!

  • i remember i learn a song in sign language when i was in year 4.... im just upset that i forgot some of it

  • Yeah, I love this movie!!!!! It's so awesome!!

  • I AM CRY AND SLIME :D I LOVE YOU DEAF ;D

  • this was an awesome movie it made me cry though

  • now i have that one dvd. i love this!!!

  • Very inspiring movie. This movie makes me cry every time I watch it!

  • But if I had a son, also I would feel like laura and daniel, because on the one hand I like to listen to the sounds of nature, but then I would not want to lose that bond that would have if he were deaf and is a major dilemma because he wants his son to hear, but not because his mother is scared, thinking that they would lose

  • Doesn't Marlee Matlin find out from her "mom" in the movie that she was once able to hear like her son? Cause she remembered the Tea kettle.... I was thinking about this movie and that part kept coming to me and I wanted to make sure it was the right movie.

  • @followhimalways04, I can not believe Laura (Marlee Maltin) and Adam (Noah Valencia) are really deaf, marlee 80% lost hearing in his right ear and 20% in left, and Noah is the fourth generation deaf family, and he says he does not need voice because he can talk with their hands.

  • @followhimalways04 yes sweetie that is a part of the movie

  • i've call my hallmark store in my town and order the movie and they call me when they got it and i went and picked it up and you can call just go to to the websie and the number is there i love the movie

  • I've read so much about this movie. And after watching this trailer I want to watch this movie so badly. Can anyone help me? Do you know a site where I can watch it for free without any spam etc. Please mail me or let me know, I'll be so thankful!

  • @MariskaHargitayfan00 if u find out let me know I wanna watch it too!!

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000 hey I just found it on amazon.

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000

I have tried looking myself, the only way you can get it now is it order it from the Hallmark Hall of Fame website (google). Hope this helps. :)

  • @TheGarfieldxx30000

I have tried looking for it myself, however you can get it only through the Hallmark Hall of Fame website (google. Hope this helps. :)

As far as I know amazon has old copies.

  • I have this DVD and it's good movie! :D

  • oh i want to see this.......

  • this was a great movie i loved it.

  • Great movie topic and helps bring a big debate in the Deaf community to the mainstream. This movie was done in such a corny way (guess it is Hallmark afterall, though,)

  • my dad grew up being deaf but then he got his cochlear inplant that really changed his life. before his inplant he had never heard me speak because i spoke so softly. but now he can hear everything i say when he hasn't turned his inplant off.

  • coclear implant not effective for 100 percent profound deaf person. i agreed marlee reject as movie actress. it is good for hearing loss db 45 -60 hearing person.

  • can you please upload this movie? it looks really good. marlee matlin is a wonderful actress. i think it's cool that she still talks even though she cant hear

  • der film ist so schön ich hab die ersten paar minuten gesehn und war sofort fasziniert und konnte einfach nicht wegschalten ... er ist so beautiful :)

  • this movie made me cry.

  • es ingles :S nada de español joooo quiero todos son iguales porque no hacer españa??

  • @14gonzi Tienes el canal "Hallmark channel" en España?

  • i totally disagree with you. it's completely accurate of how the deaf community feels.

  • I know thats how they feel. I live at RIT more then half of my floor is deaf I understand more then most about there "community "... but I still think its a fail of a movie (witch means I just didn't like it).. and I didn't say anything concerning how any other ppl feel about the movie, including deaf ppl. so idk why or how you "totally disagree" with me.. (hint: read what i'm saying before you respond.)

  • Soy sordo, me siento muy orgulloso y dar mucho ejemplo... Luchamos en contra los cientificos abusos...

    Saludos a todos

    JMMM

  • I am deaf noah was in my school.. really good moive

  • I saw this movie. I am deaf. My wife (died 2006) and my sons all have varied levels of deafness. We were extremely touched by this movie. It pointed out very eloquently portrayed the difficulties and desires of some deaf children to be the same, and to communicate better. There needs to be more movies like this, directed and produced by deaf people. Only then will Americans get an accurate understanding of the struggle of deaf individuals.

  • its not only Americans who need to understand its all the people of the world i am deaf and i live in Australia its the same everywhere people think they know but they dont untill happens to them and that i do not wish

  • can you upload that movie?Sweet Nothing In My Ear?3506987

  • we watched this in ASL! such a great movie. it made us cry. lmao

  • i am a deaf person i cannot have a cohlear implant but hearing aids have changed my life , seeing marlee maitlin act gives hope for people like me who are told you cant do that or have that job because you are deaf

  • Hi, I'm also deaf person and i have a cochlear implant. why can't you have a ICU¿

  • i dont know why my parents where told when i was a baby and now i would rather wait till my hearing is all gone seeing as i was told that CI dont always work so if it dosent i dont lose anything and there is no risk

  • CI has been known to kill children, why would anyone do something like that. Being deaf is who you are, be proud of it.

  • @tas45123 CI is not a killer thing. I'm a 18 year old deaf girl who got implanted at age 10. My parents did not force me, they just asked me if i wanted to get into a surgery and get my implant cochlear i said no at first but months later i changed my mind. just to know what would happen and it turned out the best decision for me. for 9 years i've been through intensive speech therapy and i'm joined to society. I support CI but...

  • @tas45123 ... i understand people that says they rather not to wear an implant cochlear because "too much pain in the head" and/ or other reasons. I respect their decisions though.

  • Well my main problem is when people get a baby or very young child CI because it can kill. I am very happy that yours works good, and I wish nothing but the best for you.

  • Nice Deaf~!

  • My girlfriend and I have been together for a little over a year and as a couple we are much like this family. I am hearing and she is deaf, so she asked me 2 watch this movie, and we decided together that our children would learn ASL and use hearing aid so they could learn to speak. then later they will get 2 decide what the want. 2 be deaf, 2 be hard of hearing {using hearing aids}, or having CI .and if our kids are hearing the would learn ASL 2 communicate well with their mother.

  • I saw this movie in my ASL class and it was really touching. The debte is a pressing one and if I personally were faced with the choice I wouldn't know which i'd choose.

  • This looks like such a sweet film! Could someone please post it? I know sign language... :)

  • Has anyone found a place to download this movie online? I think I saw it for sale on amazon, but I wanted to try to find it for download first before I order.

  • I'm not sure if I liked this movie or not - it was definitely interesting, and did a good job of highlighting some important issues in the Deaf community without favoring one side over another.

  • i bought this movie and just finished watching it.. i cried...the struggle both parents faced in this movie was awesome...

i am not a deaf person, but ASL has always fascinated me.. i want to learn more about deaf culture....

  • This is an inspiring movie. I am so glad I never got a cochlear implant. I was taught ASL right after I was born, went to a Deaf school all of my life, earned my degree from a top university, and now have a happy life. I work at an investment bank and I'm engaged to a medical student. I just wish parents would set aside their selfish desire for a "normal" child and think about the Deaf child's positive identity instead.

  • wow Jeff Daniels signing! You don't see that everyday.

I know only 1 deaf person that has a cochlear implant out of the many I know.

  • This is the best, educational movie to show that it's not about what parents want. It's about what the child really wants. I know many deaf friends of mine who grew up with cochlear implants and they rejected them when they got older. It's because they didn't really want it and was forced to get it by their parents. It's really sad. I feel so lucky to have parents who didn't feel that way. They just let me be and go to mainstream school so I am happy about that.

  • Wow that looks like a good movie! I wanna see it!

  • Comment removed

  • can somebody plz put this online, i want to see this so much

  • IS there any place to watch this movie, are they going to air it again? When? Is it uploaded to watch?

  • god jul

  • god jul

  • Very good that Marlee doesn't allowed her child to use cochlear implants. The true nation of deaf people to be how they are, they have the capability of using sign language as the communication, I don't see where it is necessary to hear at all.

It is just beautiful when everything is silent and you use sign language. It is just beautiful natural language.

  • I think it should be up to the individual. There is controversy everywhere about the cochlear implant. Obviously, this child is too young now to really decide for himself so I would take Marlee's side in this case.

  • A great movie, it seems. Would anyone upload this movie when it's available. I definitely cannot get it here (in Japan). Thanks!!

  • when's the movie coming out again???

by the way it's soo beautiful i love it sooo much

  • So Do i..I'm deaf....I use choclear implant...

  • how did you hear that?? im just wondering!!! i think ur very inspiring cuz u can tell the world that u can do anything!

  • you really don't know what a Cochlear Implant is do you..

I suggest you look it up and re-evaluate your answer Mileyfan808

  • OMG!!! that movie was so touching! I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for the movie to cum out. on the first day I am so gonna buy it. this is now one of my favorites Marlee Matlin is such a great actress and did an AWESOME job on this movie!!!!

  • I got the implant when I was 4 years old. My implant has 24 wires that connect to the brain and the magnet has a computer chip that transfer the signal from the device into the wires going to the brain.

  • I saw the whole movie last night and i sm deaf myself too! I was born hearing but became deaf at age of only 1 year old. Still to this day, the mysterious cause was never discovered. I has the same implant as mentioned in the movie! Believe me, it's all true.

  • it doesn't really say whether or not he will get the implant but the dad and mom get back together and the dada admits that the reason that he wanted him to get the implant was for his own selfish reasons.

  • Thanks so much for filling me in mback. At least they got back together. Would've been sad for the kid if they didn't.

  • Its was very good movie. I liked it. :)

  • SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!

so much better than i thought!

everyone needs to watch that movie. it'd be great for the deaf community to receive more understanding from the rest of the world.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song played in this ad?

  • Phyllis, Ed, Marlee, Deanne - so many wonderful actors! Beautifully visualized story.

  • This movie was phenominal! It was so inspirational and beautiful! Marlee and Jeff were wonderful and so was the rest of the cast! This movie was definitely worth watching and I cannot wait to get it on DVD this coming May 15th (I think).

  • Yes it is May 15. Available in Hallmark gold crown stores.

  • Ok, was anybody else upset about how this movie ended tonight?? It was fantastic.. don't get me wrong but... what the heck??

  • I loved this movie, and missed, no joke, the last 5 minutes. How the hell does it end? implant or no implant? last time I answer the phone before key moment!

  • They don't tell you what happens lol. It kind of leaves the audience in suspense

  • I cant wait to see it tonight. :D

  • can't wait to watch this. going to tape it to dvd too. thanks for sharing with us.

    Heidi

    Heidi
