Is it just me, or did anyone else get a deja-vu from the movie Paruthiveeran. Both movies took place in the village in some ways. The girl gets murdered at the end, and the hero dies too when he finds out.

Ok let me take this opportunity to pen a few thoughts after watching this moviue. First of all i'm a malayalee & i'm sick & tired of watching mohanlal & mammooty's antics, these old men should try to act their age, instead they still try to act like they are in their 40's. just like the old grass should be cut off to give chance for fresh grass to grow- the same with movies. if is high time malayalam industry changed their atiitude and be open & give chance for fresh talent to grow!

Superb movie....simple story but extra-ordinary screenplay....the four lead characters performed very well esp Thambi Ramaiah....the songs are pleasant,visuals are fresh...one of the Best Movie in the year 2010...!!!

In the early 70's and 80's Tamil Film had greats like Mani Ratnam, Barathiraja, Baghyaraj, Mahendran, Balu Mahendra, Abavanan (Script), Sundarrajan. Later we had many crapps. I don wanna name them. But these days we have Bala, Ameer, Sasikumar, Samuthrakani, Raam (Katrathu Thamizh), Vasantha Balan.

Guys Happy News... Gone are the days people used to call Malayalam films as quality films... Now a days Tamil films are a perfect in everything. Barring few shits like Sura, ATM, Vettaikaran. One such eg is Mynaa. Mynaa deserves huge appreciation. A wrld class film...

All superstar crap piling on and collapsing in the box office.. I completely agree to your view about Tamil movie too. Look at the fantastic works by Sasikumar,Samudrakani,Cheran,A­meer Sultan,Myskin,Prabu Solomon and much more..

@solarisand25k BTW, i am also a Mallu. But of late i personally feel we lost our supremacy. Reason? No creative directors like Bharathan, Padmarajan, Lohithadas (script). We have the best Screenplay Writer India has ever produced, Shri M.T.Vasudevan Nair. But we dont have a director who transform the screenplay into a film.

@linishprasad ..I am a keralite and agrees completely with u buddy...the reason i found was...newcomers and fresher artists are welcomed by tamil cinema nowadays with open hands...while malayalam industry is filled with some fkn politicians who claim themselves to be superstars and is always trying their best to be the gods of the industry as once it used to be in tamil cinema.

Really heart touching love journey, this movie will surely hit the box office,

very excellent team work, tremendous camera work and locations are amazing, lovable composition by iman, Hero vidharth done his character outstanding, Heroine eyes speaks a lot and her expressions are too good, very very very enjoyable humour by thambi ramaiya, hats off to the director for making this film.

Over all myna is a live movie, all the best to myna crew.
