I am enthralled with this. While I'm generally intrigued with Mary Halvorson's music, there's not much I actually listen to more than once. This, however, really appeals to me immensely; it's a true gem...until it gets to the hard, dark, heavy-handed, 'amp distortion' section. Then, it breaks back out into the light...and I'm once again enthralled. Wherever the music dives deeply into "monstrously ugly" territory, I tune out. But most of this is eccentrically, ethereally beautiful. Thank you!
