yes thank you for the positive review im glad some one knows that duke nukem forever isn't the best game but by far a great game. and its one that's actually my favorite and the only fps i really play anymore.

Thanks for an actual review. Not one of those "I found a glitch and Im going to base the rest of the review on that" kind of review. Long load times and two gun limit is all I didn't like other than the fact I'd rather play the 2001 version.

@Levethian7 I watched thousands of reviews by Ign and GameSpot and other idiots paid to talk nonsense... for the first time I can remember, I watched a Review that was filled with humor, knowledge and reality... And how "new games" are destroying the legacy of some games like Doom 3, Quake 4, Fallout New Vegas did... And we all hope that Diablo 3 and The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim will not do the same.
Very pointed review, people do not understand that critics review games based on a curve--its not really their fault they have to consider the newest innovations in gaming. However, this game is beautifully crafted retro satisfaction, and its nice to see people feel the same way. For those who just dont get it....theres always Call of Duty, for me its ass-kicking time all the time. Come get some!

It's not a perfect game, far from it. But it is ALOT of fun at places and I don't think anyone who likes fps games should pass up Duke's second coming.
@Timic83tgwtg I suppose, except many FPS's in the 1990's had that :). The interactivity & humor made Duke 'different'. I think gameplay would be the skeleton/muscle, rather than the heart/soul, if we're still using that metaphor... ;)
Hope Serious Sam 3 satisfies in the speed & weaponry department.
@oktny I understood :). Under Gearbox's leadership hopefully a fresh Duke will be ready comparatively soon. Yep, Dungeon Siege III doesn't look great :/. Happy to wait for Diablo 3 (2026, too).. or a follow-up to Din's Curse.
Finally a nice fellow who sees DNF as what it is. Addresses game journalist who critique game a way that it shouldn't be. I wholeheartedly have the same opinion about the game! Nice job Andrew, thumbs up!

the heart of duke nukem 3d was the fast gameplay and tons of weapons to use at once.
