The Dark Citadel level (level 13, if I remember correctly) is one of the scariest levels of this game.The atmosphere is just incredible.

@tanathos0414 Exactly!! I used to have dreams of dark hallways since I was a kid and just 2 days ago, I had a nightmare of being in a dark hall again. Everything was lit, but I turned around and it all turned to dust. And this music came to mind!

I've been through all the classic horror games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Siren, etc. And to this day, Doom 64's soundtrack remains the scariest I've ever heard.

I still play this game today, and still find it so creepy. Will always be one of the best games ever, I don't care if it got awful ratings. This was always my favorite song too, I was always so scared to leave the starting room hahah.

With the music and ambience like this, I found Doom 64 to be far more scary than Doom 3. Doom 3 should have been Doom 64.

@MrSpartan92i i think D64 music is a remix of PSX Doom music like listen to Watch your step then Map 02 Chemical plant and then Alter of Pain to MTN. Erbus they have slight similer diffrences
