You are correct, of the array gets bigger then it's best to run higher voltage and lower current. I have some interesting results from mono / polycrystalline panels that I hope to post soon.

Interesting videos. I think if you were going to 1000 watts, you'd use a higher voltage and lower current. I'm interested to see how the panel types vary with sun angle.
