@darkseclusion During quite a while, the servers had some serious lag problems, so there was no new players. Fortunately, these problems are fixed for most of the servers. Secondly, the advertisement was very low and was crap so the community didn't expanded much.

These are the main 2 reasons. If you wanna join and need some help to start, ask Tsumego (that's me) for some help. I'll be glad to help you out.

@KemeticCultus Check out Savage: The Battle for Newerth (search: Savage XR). It is the predecessor of Savage 2 and still active although being more than 7 years old. And that mainly because Savage 2 is a fail game, rejected by the vast majority of the original Savage community. Original Savage provides a much better, unique combat system, better RTS mode, better ranged weapons, better economic system and way more maps. Basically everything is better except the graphics. Enjoy!

This is a good game but has no discipline. The old players follow you around the forums if they dont like you and flam the piss out of you, AND GET AWAY WITH IT. I was on one night when an 8 year old was talking alot, remember this is an 8 year old. Some idiot 20+ year old CUSSED that 8 year old all to hell.
