I built a large replica of Tombstone (superheavyweight bar spinner combot) and it looked great, but too bad it fell off the shelf 2 months ago and the whole thing came apart :'(.

The blade is spinning upwards. It doesn't toss the robot because the blade, it being from a mere K'NEX motor, is not powerful enough.

If you see the beginning, as it starts to spin, it goes upwards, like Belly said, backlash and nightmare style. It appears downward due to it spinning so fast.

@PooingCavy - I'm doing the same design for my robot in my engineering class right now, except the wheel is made of wood with pegs sticking out. It can actually break pieces off!

Actually, the way the disk is spinning now, it will get more damage because it tosses the robot, the real Backlash is done this way.

ya know what i just realized its spinning the wrong way if you spin it upwards (like i do on my eviscerator) you may get a lot more potential out of that blade

shit what i just realized is eviscerator was the most destructive knex vertical blade hmm maybye if you use eviscerators blade design you could get more power and perhaps get it spinning better but you will have to reflace long pieces ocasionaly ive already broken 2
