  • @Dream308

    whats wrong?

u still have garbage bags as drapes? thats pathetic, your youtube credibility is gone

    watch?v=47B5c-S28Vg

  • The recoil on these is just so bad it ruins your accuracy and control IMO, I have an LCR that's even heavier and it's just a bear to get through a box of ammo too. I only practice with regular 38 special but the real 158gr gold dots are pure punishment. 2-3 shots max... but I do like the idea of having the 357 in close encounters. Much more likely to stop someone in their tracks. Thanks for posting your vid. Would you consider ankle easier for the badguy to access than you?

  • doesint sound like a good carry gun if u barely can handle shooting it at the range might be light but if u cant follow up fast enough better be a good first shot

  • It doesnt get any better. A .357 and a APBT. Home defence gets no better!!!

  • this is one of the worst ideas for a gun imo, its way too light ive shot this, my hands were screaming and it drew blood in my thumb webbing... in a stressful your prob guna rapid fire all 5 off and at lets say 15 feet youd be lucky to hve a 12" spread...

  • MIB noisy cricket

  • I've gotta say... I like the ankle holster. If you've ever seen The French Connection, Gene Hackman as 'Popeye' Doyle wore a similar one. Supposedly, he wore it so "the girls wouldn't feel it when they rub up against him." Very appropriate. Actually, it would suit undercover agents in the vice squad for the exact same reason. Just saying...

  • 800$ for a gun that prolly cant hit a wall from the inside

  • @peasinacan

LOL yeah it's accuracy is prolly better than that but it has a fuckload of other drawbacks because of it's weight and size, plus .357 performance from snub barrels is pretty crappy. Check out ballisticsbytheinch website the 357 from a 2" barrel is dogshit, it's all smoke and no sizzle. A 9mm 2" revolver gives the same velocity with 125 grain bullets because the magnum is so innefficient when the barrel shrinks below 4".

  • Good to have dogs around. Humans for the most part are worthless.

  • is someone snoring in the background?

  • @TropicalConfederate Yes, my pitbulls

  • i would've worn this to a wedding i recently went to. it would've hidden well tucked in the waistband a' la old school hidden beneath the tuxedo's pleated ''belly band'' thing...what do u call it??

  • i love that little revolver...i need one, STAT!

  • Could you put the old case hardened trigger/hammer on a new scandium Smith?

  • One question. Why do they bother to put sights on a gun with that short of a barrel?

I used to know a guy who had a .44 mag with a 2" barrel, and a scope, of all things. We each fired a few rounds through it, and I then told him I figured the scope must be so he could get a real good look at all the things he couldn't hit :).

  • too funny the noise of your dog sleeping behind you,

  • I Use To Use This Little Gun When I Was A Prostitute (PineApple Express)

  • Most homes that have been burglararized Guns laying around for quick use have been stolen and have been sold or used in other crimes ..comments on this video Yep nice gun However i would not buy or sell a gun to someone that thinks this is a good "pocket carry" .. you ever lose a wallet?

  • I am curious, what is the point in spending the extra money on a scandium made frame when it weighs 6.037% less? |44.956 - 47.846| / 47.846

  • @nickrohn93 so you can make a video and tell people its made of scandium : )

  • @freakyflow I have to agree, that does sound pretty badass :)

  • LOL love the glock tool pointer

  • 800$ id rather get a mosin negant for 100$

  • My only issue with stub nose 357s is that they realistically perform almost identically to 38 specials, particularly +p loads. They are more fun to shoot, due to the added light and sound, but I do think that people take this a bit too far. If you don't have a 3" barrel, you're better off skipping the 357.

  • It's a lovely little revolver--but painfully pricey. I'd definitely get it with a hammer shroud though--they go in and out of the pocket much easier.

  • I was told that magnesium is the lightest structural metal available, is scandium lighter then magnesium? I was also wondering if you plan to make or buy and silencer for your Heckler & Koch Mk 23 and if it’s lighter, smaller, and thinner than a Colt 1911A1 Thank you, I have always enjoyed your reviews.

  • nice shoes homie

  • Hey Humans, I love your vids. I wanna ask you a question that nobody seems to be able to answer. Would you consider a glock 27 to be a good alternative to a 357 snubbie for black bear protection in the woods? I know the 357 is a slightly better penetrator, but the short barrel really has a negative effect on velocity. So if you had the choice between a glock 27 or your S&W snubbie, which would you chose? Which full metal jacket round would penetrate better?

  • @troutslayrz I have heard of people that killed black bear with the .40 but I would not want to try it.... Get a .357 or a .44 magnum with at least a 6" barrel.

  • 40 > 357

    Shot placement > Caliber

Both will work on black or small grizzly bears.

Glock 23 is a better choice

  • I think that the gun recoils so much is that:

    1. considerabely strong cardridge is chambered

    2. theres not to much weight to absorb the force

And i dont think its super powerful, I'd even say that if it had 6" barrel it would have 30-50% more power.

  • puppy is thirsty

  • Who is snoring and clonking through the house in the backround? Besides the dog drinking water in the end of the vid?

  • @Jaime2199 My pits

  • Note to self: Tackle this guy by the legs and steal his revolver LOL

  • If scandium is so great, why isn't the cylinder made of it, too?

  • @BlownNitroPontiacFan It's called cost, the metal is rare and the gun already costs $800+ let alone a cylinder in solid Scandium.. Any other questions??

  • @humans4targets2 Actually, it's called strength of materials. The scandium can't handle the pressure. It would fracture. Hence, only the frame is scandium, while the cylinder is steel. Same reason they don't make cylinders out of aluminum alloy, only frames. Any other questions?

  • @aquaphone Wrong, the cylinder is Ti and the chambers are steel lined, but nice try....

  • @humans4targets2 Damn it! But seriously, don't you think a scandium cylinder would crack? I know the frames of these revolvers are reinforced with steel in some areas because the scandium was cracking. Like right around the cylinder gap is a steel reinforcement. I think that's why the cylinder isn't scandium.

  • Thanks for the info. I would love to have one for around the house. 38 spcl only though. My wife thinks i'm crazy and she would never shoot this gun. She has a Ruger sp 101 that she will not shoot 357 mags in. I do and that gun can make my wrist hurt after a few shots.

  • Wow, that is even lighter than my ruger lcr. What do you think it would weigh with 5 125 grain 38 hollow points?

  • My rossi 461 fits in my pocket just fine

  • $800 bucks for a revolver. I remember you could get a police trade-in .38 (when they went to 9mm) for $60 dollars.

  • lol.. the dog chewing stuff in the background... hi Jade!

  • I was told that with a .357 magnum, you can also fire .38 special. Have you thought about using .38 special to make it less painful and easier to shoot?

  • You do excellent gun reviews, I really enjoy watching them and I find them very informative, you are very knowledgeable and your arsenal is very cool. I never knew about a revolver that light or about Scandium that is very interesting. I was wondering are the hammers and triggers forged out of a solid piece of titanium and hand fitted and are they treated for durability, because I can’t see any care colors?

  • @SilverWolfM200LDH They are not case colored the new hammers and triggers are MIM parts, I like the old style way better.

  • @humans4targets2 Thanks for your answer. It's unfortunate that the hammers and triggers are MIM; I wish they were still made the original way so you could rely on the durability and trust it won't fail when you need it. I agree with what you said, there should be more hands on attention in the assembly of the guns.

  • I have the 'old' mod 36 and really like it. This one is on the wish list =)

  • Your dog must be thirsty!

  • i have that gun in a .38 spc. made out of titanium

  • you review all the guns I WANT

  • when you are been atack for a bunch of f..... the only that matter is got a gun. Dosent matter what kind ,but a gun

  • Your right about the recoil, I have the 340 CT. I bought some shooting gloves to deal with the "trigger" finger on the range...works great.

  • very nice blue pit

  • nice lookin bull

  • check out "pocket rocket Reedley "

  • dang 12 ounce .357 mag that thing gonna kick hard!

  • @jingq2 its not kick its shock

  • I have the S&W scandium hammerless, nice gun, sometimes I load it with the 38+p.

  • you said, when you odn't want to deal with a holster, aren't CCW holders required to use a holster? At least that is the case in ohio

  • do they make that with a shrouded hammer?

  • @elguille1471 Yes they do.

  • I tend to favor revolvers, and think a .357 mag loaded with .38 +P is just about the best compromise--near-magnum performance out of a nice, heavy, substantial gun. This one loaded with full power mags is turning all that on its head! LOL

  • I have several small handguns, but for conceal carry my S&W 642 ends up on me more often than any other. It's just very lightweight and easy to carry.

  • Damn your dog was thirsty! I thought he was done and then he just kept goin haha.

So just to be clear, you do like the gun but only for an emergency? About how quickly do you think you can accurately empty all chambers? I was looking at one of these for ccw and am not worried about putting 50 rnds through at a time. Will only do that to get used to shooting it.

  • I currently carry a cop 357. similar to a derringer. Breaks open 4 individual barrells, and hurts the wrist when i shoot it... I cant imagine how the recoil on tha little number is. Very nice!!!

My CHL is about to expire time to renew.

  • fantastic/classic review.... love your snoring and thirsty babies. Thank you for sharing

  • 5:21 - 5:33 thats what she said...

  • Nice shoes

  • old vid H4T, went to the range today with my pocket pistol SP101 3 incher

only shot about 15 rounds .357. got the gun for the .38spl use. Its not fun even with 27 oz dry weight.

come to think of it my 40 oz S&W model 19 6 incher kicks like a mule too.

The sp101 is great in the pocket for trips out with the dogs. even with the hogue monogrip, it is small enough to hide.

I agree, the snoring pup is classic. Did you manage to see my dogs in the latest videos, cody and augie.

  • The dog snoring in the background was classic LoL

  • I've got the m&p 340 and i've actually got a scar on my trigger finger from where the bottom of the trigger dug into it everytime i shot it. it tore a piece of skin off and then every shot after that it kept on digging into the open wound. i know its not a gun you're gonna spend a lot of time at the range with but i wish they made the trigger a little longer or curved a little more. other than that, great firearm.

  • i own a Glock 36. get a glock u will not regret it GLOCK 36. one shot tow kills

  • @firefox8192 lol have you seen my video's, I have several glocks and love them

  • @humans4targets2 the only thing i dont like about this gun for carry is the 5 shot capacity

  • I think the 125 gr JHP are the perfect defense rounds for a .357 mag.

  • I swear I hear a dog snoring in the background...

  • Humans4targets, I am trying to decide which gun to get when I get my concealed carry permit, and I was wondering if you would reccomend this gun, a Glock 26 or a Glock 36.

  • @fallout3geek All three are good choices, what do you have the most experience with? I like the g27 for carry, and right now I carry a g23.

  • @fallout3geek If you DON'T have a lot of gun experiance DON'T buy ANY small frame revolver or short barrel revolver especially a magnum. These guns recoil like a motherfucker & only an experianced hand gunner should buy them. I think that I consider myself too inexperianced for this. Oh shit he's talking about that now in the vid.

  • @VinnyS914 Don't BUY any guns! Guns murder innocent people! Support the Brady Campaign to BAN ALL GUNS TODAY!!! 100,000 people are murdered with guns each year!!!

  • @KillAllGuns I told you to leave me alone you Communist pice of shit. You & that nut friend of yours that spews hallucinations like their facts. If I knew how to find you I'd have your ass arrested.

  • @VinnyS914 You leave jackie alone you racist neo-nazi facist!! I hope one day she becomes president and bans all guns in America!!!!

  • @KillAllGuns Who'as Jackie? I meant the beareded guy that's hallucinating about mafiaz conspiracies. Oh did you tell Robert F. Kennedy & Marvyn Gaye that it's scientifically impossible to kill someione with a 22? Yeah ALL guns will be banned. I'm gonna laugh my ass off when guns are bamnned & you get a visit from a home invader. & I told you to stop talking to me. If I knew who you were I'd press charges.

  • @KillAllGuns And if you want all guns banned in America then that means that it should be banned for law enforcement as well, why, because there are a lot of cops that are trigger happy believe me I know, I've seen a lot of BS growing up in the mean green street of chicago.

  • @KillAllGuns guns don't kill people, People kill people, meaning Humans kills Humans it takes action from a Human Being to do this not the gun, sure it the peak of the matter in any situation but the point I'm trying to make is everytime some is harmed, It is the Human Being that are destructive and no respect for life.

  • @fallout3geek i got my concealed carry permit a couple months ago. i went with the Glock 26. best gun ever. i carry it everywhere i go with an Uncle Mikes IWB holster. dont waste your money on some spendy holster. get a G26 and a cheap Uncle Mikes holster and you will be happy. A Glock 26 with 10 rounds of +P jacketed hollow points is plenty.

  • A couple buddies of mine had a pound of bud, two guns, and a couple bottles of pills on 'em... all registered for! Cop pulled them over, thought he hit the jackpot... no sir, he couldn't do shit. haha, your pitbull is GORGEOUS, absolutely stunning. I know several different people who are strapped daily, with guns like this.. not the same specifically, but people really do walk around with guns. rofl Guns, knives, all sorts of stuff. Just gotta know what to look for. hehe

  • @420BMichelle Im assuming the cop did not cath them with the weed and pills, bc if he did then it DOES become illegal to have a weapon and is further punishable.

  • @03protegeES Uh...no.

  • In the state where I currently reside you can keep firearms, including sidearms, in your home or in your vehicle (considered an extension of your home) without a permit when you pass a background check.

I carry for my safety. Not with the intention of doing harm but my home has been burglarized three times. I told the police that if anyone breaks in while I'm home that one of us would not walk away. They said, "if you're successful, we'll give you a pat on the back."

I will not be a victim.

  • @SwampDog1957 Good on you! Keep a loaded shotgun under your bed for when Mr. Burglar/Rapist/Psychopath decides to visit. Keep a loaded handgun in your glove box for everything else. But make sure everyone in the house knows gun safety and proper gun handling in case the (not trying to sound sexist) main man, or perhaps woman is not around or not able to defend the family/property.

  • @111dogon555 My carry weapon is a 40 cal. Px4 in a leather bag between my front seats. Only need to flip the safety off. I have a 45 cal. XD in my home. I'm familiar with long range weapons and sidearms, and there's no one else in my home.

  • @SwampDog1957

Friend, you need to move, get a good alarm system, a guard dog etc, the gun is the last line of defense, not the first

  • @eastofakron1 I am my first line of defense and how I choose to defend myself is based on a variety of factors with where I live being my choice also. Maybe your solution would be to pack up and move everytime you think there is a potential threat. I purchased the home and I plan to stay there for a while.

  • @SwampDog1957

Good luck to you, I hope it works out well.

  • you should carry the 500 mag for CC!

I have a SW 649 which weighs 2x as much as the Sc and even then 357 mags are a bitch! So I stopped shooting them

  • Comment removed

  • my dadtold me unless u have at least a 3 inch barrel itd be better to shoot .38s but i guess its the shooters choice

  • damn do people rilly walk around with a gun

  • Where you been? 48 states have carry laws where people with clean records can carry a gun for self defense.

  • oo i dint know that so you can carry a gun and if the police pull you over they cant do anything?

  • If you go through the training and everything then you get a license, and no the cops cant do anything.

  • @kingraider7 of course ppl walk around with a gun......all day every day.....hell i even have my NAA .22 mag in my pocket now in my house.....the more ppl carrying guns the less the criminals can do......as long as ur not a felon and are 21 u should b able to carry a gun......unless u live in wisconsin or illinois....

  • wow i would never guess

  • @karlebyrdjr Pocket?! Fool, you crazy...carryin' that shit in your pocket, of all places!!

  • @kingraider7 Only if you have a concealed carry permit. This permit does mean concealed. You cannot just wave it around, open carry like a police officer ETC. At least in Pennsylvania that is the law.

  • @kingraider7 Open carry, yes. Do not conceal it unless you get a concealed carry permit.

  • have you been living under a rock? or you just suddenly felt the impulse to type something stupid?

  • I do, and I wont shoot anyone unless they threaten my life or the life of another.

  • whats the range for this ?

  • Is is Scandium or Scanadium? I'll have to look that up. I think from my periodic table class room time in General Chemistry at the University, I think it's scanadium........but we'll see. Either way, we know what you're talking about.

  • nice gun, nice dog, nice vid.

  • Thank you!

  • y not try 38 +p ammo they wouldnt kick as much

  • Comment removed

  • Not in this exact version, but very similiar guns with shrowded hammers.

  • Comment removed

  • Never heard that anywhere, and smith has such a good guarantee that they even send you the box pre labeled to back and pay all shipping, now the ruger lcr has been having problems with the frame melting right above where the bullet is being fired,, no joke and I have seen it, the aluminum just started to melt and run.

  • Comment removed

  • im new to revolvers how do you know when the it is a full powered .357? are there some different ones?

  • Yeah lots different loadings with different power, look on the ammo boxes or look online for the velocity and feet per second.

  • beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Thanks man

  • Steel, then high grade aluminum, Titanium, Scandium, now, is it magnesium? What will they come up next?

  • post a video of u shootin it please

  • Okay I am only at 4:53 of this but is that your dog snoring in the background and lapping water. I am LOL!!!!

  • lol, that was my bulldog drinking water and the pitbull snoring.

  • I was dying from laughing. I barely heard a word you said. I will have to watch the vid again. I guess your Pit is not a Smith fan? :-)

  • lol, my video's put her to sleep ..haha

  • i phone with an attitude...........

  • what do u think about the 38 airlite s+w iam thinking of one for a back up?

  • I really like those for backup, pretty much the perfect backup gun.

  • that little revolver looks like it packs a huge punch! How's the recoil on it? It's such a light gun you'd think that it would hit you in the head after firing......

  • Just about haha, neither of my .500 magnums have the punch of this light thing.

  • i held the .44 magnum version of this and was blown away from the weight. Great looking revolver.

  • for sure and those who doubt what we are saying all you have to do is shoot one and see for yourself.....

  • Yeah lol, my iphone weighs 5 ounces, now just picture adding 7 more ounces and firing .357 magnum lol

  • @humans4targets2 that's why sometimes at airports they make you turn your cell phone on to make sure it's a cell phone. I think I remember seeing a video of a .22 that looks like a cell phone that fires about 4 rounds.

  • i had a ruger sp 101 357 that when firing 357's it was down right painful. im not a pussy i have a 3 in barrell smith 44 mag that wasnt as bad to shoot as the ruger, i only put 38 special +p' in it from that point on.......

  • Yeah man, so you can see what im saying about this 12 ounce gun..

  • The kick of that gun would make me want to carry 38s in it.

  • true....

  • Heck yeah, That was the one you let me shoot, I still have that shell sitting on my dresser haha. That is suck a sweet gun.

  • You did good, and that was a .357 magnum you round you fired also.

  • Nice Air Jordan True Flights BTW...LOL

  • Yeah.. getting dr. martins....

  • Scandium is also used widely to produce high end Lacrosse stick shafts. I can only imagine who snappy that gun can be as light as it is. Nice S&W.

  • That is what I have heard.

  • i once saw somewhere .....a person who hasnt loved a pet hasnt really loved at all...i really think that is true......your pet treats you the same everyday but a woman hates you one second and loves you the next....go figure

  • Very true, Jade loves me the same every day, tail always wags as soon as im in sight....

  • man she is an awesome dog...........makes me miss my german shepard "Lady" :(

  • ya his dog is cute! the reason dogs have short lives is because God wont let us have things that nice for ever :( I miss my Golden Retriever "Griffen"

  • Thanks Blk, so sad when they are gone.

  • I really like the night guard sw it has 7+1 plus night sights pretty cool

  • I will have to check that out tater.

  • Hey I told you wrong it's a 7shot not 7+1 sorry I don't know what i was thinking but it does have night sights

  • I would love it if S&W made a Bodyguard version of this gun with a shrouded hammer.

  • *Pets Jade* Good sweet puppy!

  • Jade would love that! :D

  • Jade is gorgeous...what a face! she is so sweet...it's great how you brought her up...nice gun btw..lol

  • Thanks Mike, I love her way more than my guns!

  • lol cool :)

  • Jordan Trueflights huh? lol

  • lol yeah, getting some Dr. Martins before winter....

  • he is very very bull headed

  • Honestly that is the only problem with my bulldog, and funny thing is me and a friend was just saying the same thing.

  • i have a bulldog 1 year old male all white :)

  • Very cool, love my bulldog!
