  • this is also an interesting video because it shows you exactly how much of kraid is background as well as the exact spawn point of his head

  • You're so awesome with missiles, super missiles and power bombs that u have the first beam and only a single energy tank.

  • por dios!!! no me sabia esa!! samus perdoname!!

  • Truthfully, I'm surprised that they had even a small notion to budge Crocomire into Zero Mission, a remake of the NES Metroid with a small plot twist...

  • how do you find him

  • @Jeremy5028 Crocomire's graphics were found in the game's data. Originally, he was going to be a fightable boss, but they cut him out at the last second because of time constrants (at least I think it's because of that).

  • @animegamingdude Hack can makes Crocomire a boss

Only search Metroid zero mission crocomire hack

  • lol@ people thinking they're internet heroes for pointing out it's fake~ No shit gaiz

As for the hack, it's pretty kul. You should've also given Samus the space jump too, just so it's easier to display it

  • read on metroid recon and itll tell u that people added a sprite of crocomire replacing kraid so its not fake

  • @nantoshin lol im just basically saying you used cheats, idiot

  • To many people talk about cheating being bad. Well he made it for YOUR entertainment so if you dont like it then DONT WATCH IT!!!

  • Noob

  • how did u get a power bomb?

  • so how is this cool?

  • @vicsONtheBOAT some people think certain things are cool stupid

  • @MrProGamerUK By cheating, you are cheating your self out of the experience video games are intended for

  • wow i tryed and i can't get it how you do this!

  • I think crocomire was jealous of kraids nice big room so he came in chopped off his head a took over Kraid's lair.

  • @MrProGamerUK Some people waste their lives postin comments on youtube like you and I.

  • what game is he from i never herd of him

  • @pokemonlegendstryker He's a boss in Super Metroid.

  • Do any of the people don't know how that happened, he was using something called an E-M-U-L-A-T-O-R.

  • lol

  • was crocomire even in this game?

  • @eddypikachu No but crocomires coding is. I think they thought of putting him in but never actually did.

  • wow, this is so stupid

  • How do you jump that high with your bombs?!?!

  • Crocomire should have been in Metroid Zero Mission.

  • look at trunaur68s crocmire hack.

  • the sprite for crocomire was already in the game or did u get it from somewhere else?

  • Kraid in the background is like WTF Mate?

  • i think the original game was suposed to have crocomire, but they figure it out that he was a pretty useless boss

  • @azalm09 That's assuming that this was like my first run, which by no means was. I do agree though that cheating does rob you of the pleasure of beating the game fairly. That's why I went and bought the actual game. Hacking is most certainly for after you've played it to death.

  • @Jigglysaint i didnt buy the actual game, i used emulators but ive beatin it about 20 times with no hacks or cheat codes

  • @azalm09 what is their to do when the beat the game more then 76 times?

  • @azalm09

He went into the coding to uncover Crocomire.

    It's not "cheating".

    You're a moron.

  • @azalm09 well said

  • @azalm09

There IS a point in Hacking, since some things can never be found during normal gameplay.

  • @azalm09 >>implying that a slightly altered game would lose the entirety of its fun

  • @azalm09

most idiotic thing I have ever heard. How does this even relate to beating the game? Idiot.

  • crocmire was originally an idea to be put in zero mission, but was scrapped and kraid was put in. you can acess crocomire with a hack. so yes, it was real

  • question howd u do it and wat did u use to play(emulator or somthin)

  • well that looks like a robotic crocomire idk why it would be robotic if he doesnt die until super metroid which occurs after this game

  • @izraqthedark First of all, it's exteremly possible to get the ScrewAttack(dot com) before the Speed Booster, and second, of course it was hacked because otherwise the game wouldn't be showing a Crocomire on top of Kraid's body. Oh and about that, well Kraid's sprite contains a control that makes the object layer move with Kraid, so only part of him is a sprite. It's the same way in Super Metroid.

  • @Jigglysaint It's also possible to get the High-Jump Boots without even going into Kraid's Lair.

  • @Jigglysaint lmao i love the added dot com referrence

  • @izraqthedark

THAT'S why your calling a fake??

    god you are stupid.

  • @izraqthedark

    you are such an idiot.

  • i think i saw the crocmire sorite in spriters resource it was unused

  • why is crocomire floating, diffent look kraids vosy on outline with no spikes on belly no head or even legs and arms!

  • wth?/?? so if......that umm WHY IS THERE A KRAID OUTLINE AND CROCOMIRE FLOATING?!?!

  • I don't have a problem with hacks or cheating, as long as you've beaten the game first.

  • @DarthSephiroth144 Dude, that doesn't even make any sense. The developers still got paid and made money from their game, they've lost nothing by the exercise the gamer has performed. If anything most programmers, especially game developers, are flattered that others hack their games because it brings new life to their original work. You are saying it's bad. You're implying a negative consequence to the creators of the game. Why you consider it cheating is beyond me.

  • @DarthSephiroth144 Depends on the context. You can hack a game to make it more difficult or to make new levels. Hacking something doesn't necessarily imply cheating, it just implies a exploration and changing of a game to do something different or to learn.

  • Man, that incomplete Kraid scares the crap outta me...

  • @UltimateGamerDudeX It is crocomire genius.

  • @MarioGalaxy243g5 No duh, I was talking about the thing that crocomire is standing on/ in the background behind him.

  • @DarthSephiroth144 I didn't hack the ram and just add power bombs. I altered the level data and placed the power bomb tanks in myself. There's cheating, and then there's just playing God.

  • its hacked not cheated lol

  • Someone at Nintendo messed up!

  • I think they didn't want to put crocomire in zero mission, but they didn't take it off from the game.... fortunately someone found it out =D

  • I just love that sudden pause at the beginning of the music. It fits what's going on. XD

  • CROCOMIIIIIIIIIIRE :3

  • It's just so fitting how the music stops when you see Crocomire.

  • dont you have a hi jump? at the end

  • i never got power bombs how do you get them

  • Was Crocomire designated to that room in the source code? If he was, perhaps he was supposed to be "fake kraid".

  • zero mission is a remake of the first metroid on NES(good old times)

super metroid is the best part of the series(saga?) cool bosses, great music.

  • no but you can cheat because this is a emulator. i have the crocomire cheat code.

  • Crocomire is a very real and complete boss in Super Metroid. You have to fire missiles into his mouth quickly to make him back into a pit of acid.

If you didn't already know this, go play Super Metroid now :)

Really, it's one of the best games of all time. IMHO.

I'm guessing Zero Mission was based on Super Metroid, and they forgot (or didn't care) to remove all the unused leftovers.

  • I assume you are advertising to the general public because if not, man are you preaching to the choir. I also reccomend Metroid Redesign.

  • played it. beat it. didn't like it. the original super metroid is the best. when wall jumping is used as much as you need to in redesign it just makes the game annoying. i'm not bad at wall jumping but it gets kinda old when you have to use it to get farther. it was meant to be a "sercret ability" not a use it all the time ability that you find in a chamber somewhere... but thats my opinion.

  • but super metroid is better cuz you get like spazer beam, wave beam, and others not only that you can wall jump like crazy in the game so i prefer super metroid than all the metroid games, cuz think about it no one has remade super metroid....therefore its too awesome to correct

  • @forbjok Metroid: Zero Mission was a remake of the original NES Metroid

  • @forbjok

I think they were going to put Crocomire in it as part of making Metroid more cohesive with Super Metroid. they probably took it out because they couldnt find a way to make it... fit in with the game.

  • @forbjok its not based on super metroid its on the very first nes metroid

ARE YOU A TRUE METROID FAN OR NOT?? ....

  • @spike0linkx I think perhaps you misunderstood what I said. By "based on" I did not mean "is a remake of". I meant that the engine used in Zero Mission was probably based on the one used in Super Metroid.

I know perfectly well that Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metroid, but its engine definitely isn't based on it.

  • @forbjok Metroid Zero Mission is based on Metroid. Please dont preach to us.

  • @Railware Please read my reply to spike0linkx.

I don't know if Zero Mission was based on Super Metroid, but it certainly wasn't based on the original Metroid.

It was a REMAKE of the original Metroid, but the engine used to create it is far more similar to the one used in Super Metroid, hence my suspicion that it might be based on it.

  • How the heck did you get power bombs before getting the varia suit and the suit you get at the end of the game?

  • I was playing a hacked game.

  • @Jigglysaint

    Oh.

  • hacked or CHEATED!?

  • Are you accusing me of cheating in a video game?

  • @Jigglysaint so you hacked it

  • @Jigglysaint actually... yeah

  • thats some nice bomb jumping.

  • i really never knew why they cancelled crocomire oh well at least we get a fish version of him in metroid the other m

  • no i wouldn't necessarily say it is a crocomire i think it is a mutated Squeept

    o.O

  • I didn't know that. Wow, things are certainly looking up for Metroid, other than the fact that we haven't had a 2D Metroid game in almost six years.

  • well metroid the other m has parts where it turns 2d

  • Kraids lifeless, limbless body is rather disturbing

  • cool hax bro

  • Cool! Is this like a hack or something?

  • i love that glitch!! wiiiiiiii XD

  • one WIERD holigram

  • Kriad has problems.......................lol

  • Crocomire's attempting to create a Kraid android. Samus caught him at a bad time, as Crocomire didn't build the limbs yet..

  • Rofl, Kraid's Limps are Missing.

  • So what did happen. Although I can understand Crocomire didn't appear until Metroid 3. It's typical for Nintendo to leave something cool out. You know I wonder if they replaced Croco with that Bug Wasp thing. If they did what a waste.

  • that would make sense, the room shape

  • What is he doing there?

They forget to put him in the game?

  • no nintendo made a sprite but later on decided not to put him in there. probably cuz there already to many mini bosses in the game.

  • It's weird that we find these things.

  • is that a cheat ???

  • can someone tell me where to find metroid zero mission

    (anywhere but the internet)

    new if possible

(probably not gonna find it new)

  • Comment removed

  • try a used gamestore

  • gamestop

  • Try gamestop or even walmart. Possibly a pawn shop. Though, your best bet will be on ebay or gamestop's website.

  • Comment removed

  • how do u do that?

  • Check my Crocmire battle of Metroid Zero Mission

  • I just did. Pretty cool stuff. Also, why use the SNES version of Kraid's music when you could have used the MZM version?

  • I kinda like the Super Metroid version a little better but I should used it though.

  • I tried doing that, and it doesn't work

  • ooh, i never get the game because i don't have gameboy advance o nintendo DS

  • y r my comments in the wrong places (-_-)

  • i didn't even know a sprite exsisted in the game...

  • It looks like crocomire ate kraid's arms legs and head then suppended his body on poor kraid's corpse ( I gotta quit playing this game if i think that is what it looks like...but to fun)

  • dude mad skills with the speed booster i dont even know how to do that shit lol

  • You are a very nice chaeter

  • he is not cheating. this is actually in the game

  • awesome, i never saw crocomire when i was playing metroid Zero Mission

  • He was left out. ;)

  • that's cool

  • Hey, nice Bomb Jumping skills!

  • where is kraids feet

    and head

  • Kraid is missing body parts and 4 eyes is suspended in midair.Wow.

  • WTF?!?!?! WHERES KRAIDS HEAD!?!?!

  • hahaha 1:47 EPIC failure

    nice vid though.

  • wtf.... is this a hack, or does this acually work?

  • From the Metroid Wiki: "Crocomire was originally going to be a boss (presumably in Norfair) in Metroid: Zero Mission, but was cut for unknown reasons. His sprite can still be accessed by hacking the GBA ROM, but the existing animations are seemingly unfinished and there's no death sequence. Unlike the one in Super Metroid, this Crocomire's coloration was black instead of red."

  • Note to self, learn how to bomb jump like that

  • I need to try that to. Looks hard.

  • Why`d the hell did they cut out so much from zero mission?!

  • Crocomire was never even in the NES version, was he? I don't think so...

    They actually added a lot...

  • Yet you're the one with the name "torterra"

  • does anyone know where i can buy Metroid Zero Mission and how much do i have to pay?

  • Comment removed

  • how do you see this thing in zero mission????

  • Oh noes he ate Kraid's face! :O

  • why would he eat that, it would taste like green farts! :O

  • seriously! look at kraids head RIGHT at 0:16! It's NOT THERE! =D

  • how did you do that?

  • How'd you get the power bombs early?

  • He used a hacking program.

  • so crocomire can't be seen without hacks? :(

  • Yes it's true, the game designers forgot to finish coding him, the game designers forgot to finish coding so can't be found, but the code was still in there so you can still get him but the you need a hacking program.

  • They didn't "forget" they just didn't program the rest of him. They kinda just decided they didn't want him there but didn't delete what they had done since you aren't supposed to see him anyway.

  • This is very weird x_X

  • Why is samus's sprite so big in the beggining? her heads going thru the floor >.> ....fake¿

  • No that's part of normal gameplay. The way rooms are done, there is both a graphics element and a clipping element that are both defined seperately. Samus is just a bit larger, graphically, than 2 blocks, so her pixels overlap with whatever's above her head. In the case of forground objects, it appears over her.

  • looks like kraid and ridley got buissy back in the day ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Did u ever defeat Crocomire?

  • do we get the p. bombs and super missiles at the time of killing kraid? :S

  • Is Crocomire really in metroid zero?

  • aparently, the makers had planned to use crocomire as a boss, but decided not to, but i guess they left an unfinished crocomire in the game's wiring or sumthing.

  • nope

  • omg if u look part of kraids body is still there so that means crocomire ate part of kraid XD

  • aaaaaaaaaaaa how did u do that, please tell me

  • how can crockomire be in zero mission

    ??

  • no missiles? you used 3 and one is a hit!

  • im so confused...is crococomire expose to be dark colored? cuz i saw him red n crap?

  • lol,if that be real =P

  • wthell crocomire in zero mission

  • i like metroid games and that was cool

  • How do i get metroid on a emulater and how do i use the emulater?
