XBOX Mod to XBMC

why is it that no one will explain how to install the xbmc to the xbox. i have uploaded xbmc.exe multiple times to the apps folder and nothing comes up. is there another file that i need to make it work? or do i have the wrong files altogether? where do you get the correct files for xbmc? Someone please answer because this is getting a little rediculous that everyone has youtube video titles on how to install xbmc but they dont show you how to install it.

once the mod is installed, are the emulators there too? Or is that a whole new story?

Thank you for the repsonse i done alot of researching and i found out it is possible. i plan to upgrade my xbox hdd to 500 gb and put every xbox game on it(except for the crappy ones) and every emulator and all of the games for the emulators. Then i can die knowing i did something of value and play games with my niece and nephew. i found a web site called snesorama and the have alot of xbox isos. Now my quest begins.

Yes, you can ftp into the xbox once this is done, so no dvds are required. To emulate your old snes nes games and such google around for xbins emulators. They (xbins) have an ftp site to log into that has a lot of tools like emulators for the box. It can definitely be done tho, Good luck!
