  • "Let's not ruin this moment... with words!"

    You just DID..... :-P

  • CHEEESE.

  • I think AB and W are secretly in love.

  • 1:30

    YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice slippers A.B. LOL

  • I like the snappy banter between AB and W here. He's grown out of his obsequious urge to please her by pretending to be knowledgeable and no longer takes her nasty attitude quietly. I know it's all scripted but it makes a wonderful commentary on self-confidence by refusing to let her rattle him. (The 70s outfit was worth a chuckle, too.)

  • hilarious grilled cheese! your my new cooking mentor because ive been under a rock since 1999 when you show first started airing! or because im a 24 yr old college student who had mom do the cooking. Thanks man.

  • After seeing this episode...I asked for a Fondu pot for Christmas. (I was 10.)

We celebrated New Years with weenies and melted cheese. :D

  • thats the only grilled cheese i make now

  • "Of course, being Swiss, and therefore efficient, they realized that if they starved to death, they can't keep killing each other!" - AB. lol

  • i guess there are two people that don't like cheese.

  • Lol.... FIFTY PUSH-UPS, AND THEN BACK TO KILLING EACH OTHER.

  • loose, hot......proteins lol

  • Sounds like the BBQPIT Boys at the end.

  • do not try this with different sized pans, ugh just ruined it lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA *nosebleed*!!! those AB/W moments are so hilarious!! Man I love this show!! Strangely I have a hankering for a grilled cheese... >.>

  • I love it classic alton, who needs a panini press.

  • mmmmmm that grilled cheese looks awesome and delicious. i got some cast iron pans and now i feel like making a grilled cheese that alton makes.

  • NONE of the part 2 videos work for me.

  • @lilacfunk Maybe you could bribe them.

  • wow some dumb dumbs in here i see...lol@ not understanding averages....wow

  • cheese on cheese. lols

  • to many chaperone's

  • Alton Brown is SEXY!

  • "Cheese cubes!"

"Why would you dip cheese in cheese?"

    "I LIKE CHEESE."

  • Ooooh... Alton is hot with the sunglasses... Well, hotter; he's always hot...

  • the trick being the iron skillets.. without that the heat will dissipate quickly and not fully melt the cheese

  • @AlcoholLevel

I've done it with regular pans (copper base) and it works fine.

  • AHHHH! BAD 70'S OUTFIT IT BURNS.

  • I talk to myself when I cook too~ :D

  • They averaged it out. Some couples may have gotten 3 or 4 while others may have 1 or 2

  • on average

  • The 0.7 just comes from averaging the numbers. The "average" person received either 2 or 3 pots, with more people receiving 3 of them rather than 2, so it averages out to 2.7

  • maybe the 0.7 could be the addition stuff that could come with the pots. Burners, forks, bowls for dipping items ect.

  • CHEESE CUBES, lol

  • The expected value of a probability distribution does not have to be a possible outcome.

  • The 'Catholic' player is not the sharpest cheese in the store.

  • He is not. (lol)

"Why would you put cheese in the cheese?!"

  • Greatest grilled cheese sandwiches were at the Grateful Dead concerts.

  • Pretty sure that Swiss Army Knife is the Spartan model.

    In case anyone is interested.

  • Ha! The ending was the best part.

  • Cheers Mr. Brown, you've done it again. Well done!

  • Hahahah anyone notice that he pulled out a flask from his jacket for the brandy? What a wino :P

  • now i want cheese...

  • Alton Brown is king of food network, its a shame they run repeats of boring crap all day when his show is both informative, entertaining, and generally is something an average person could reproduce and is only on a few times a week.

  • It's actually on every night and they play it 2-3 times from like 1 am to 3 am EST

  • And don't forget On Demand. "Why would you want cheese in the cheese?" "I LIKE CHEESE!"

  • lmao at the end of this. "uh oh...i lost my apple."

i have a bit of a food crush on alton brown. :)

  • last part really made me cheese sandwich

  • WHY do you put cheese in the cheese?

    I LIKE CHEESE!!

    lmao

  • At 8:15 you can see the chicken used in "Hard fry II".

Also, I had the gall to reproduce that grilled cheese sandwich.

    OH...MY...GOD. : D..

  • That thing was always in the kitchen in the early seasons.

  • W rocks

  • Always love the AB/W banter. And to think, they're not really antagonistic in reality! That's good acting.

  • Especially since she is his chiropractor. If he pissed her off he would be in deep kimchee!

  • Haha, my friend goes to Lassiter High School! :]

  • how in the hell do i get .7 of a fondue pot????

  • going to go make the grilled cheese right now.

  • <3 i love u LOVE MEEEEE c

  • american cheddar is absurdly orange

  • oh...my...god...that looks like the best grilled cheese sandwhich EVER! I am so trying that!!

  • I have done this recipe many of times...It works, and is delicious. A heavier cast iron pan will require a couple more minutes on high heat, or another minute pressing the sandwich.

  • The grilled cheese (big cheese squeeze) is delicious. The mustard and pepper really add to the dish's flavor and makes it seem kind of grown up(?). Just make sure you give it as much heat as AB says, or the cheese won't melt through all the way and the bread won't be as perfectly crisp.

  • It looks delicious! i wanna try that some time. Thanks for the review :]

  • Oh trust me, I have yet to go back to flipping grilled cheese. Three pieces of advice though.

1: DEFINATELY use the olive oil spritz. I did have it stick and burn once before without adiquite coverage...

2: If you're not big on mustard, cut down on the amount. It will come through.

#3: Make sure your pans are cast iron as he says. I find better success that way. Nothing else really holds the heat or reacts to the oil quite like cast iron.

  • Alright, thanks again!

  • "Any Suggestions?"

    "Cheese Cubes..."

    "WHY PUT CHEESE INTO CHEESE?!"

    "BECAUSE I LIKE CHEESE!!!"

    :]

  • haha, when I first saw this I thought he said "Cheese doodles"....either way, funny as hell

  • Has anyone tried the grilled cheese recipe? Is it good? (It sure looks good. My mom thought mixing mustard with cheese was a horrible idea. Though, AB uses mustard in a lot of cheese things...)

  • It's not a horrible idea, it's actually very tasty!

  • I'm just surprised he didn't use Kosher salt. This may be the only thing he's ever made that doesn't contain that ubiquitous ingredient ^_^

  • there was a pickle episode where he used...yep pickling salt

  • "Donuts?"

    "Think again."

    I love this show. XD

  • "But it was slow. How 'bout some push- ups"

    "How many?"

    "I'LL LET YA KNOW!"

    LMAO!!!!

  • this show was the first show i watched with my girlfriend before we went to dinner and i asked her to marry me it was this episode excatly.

    p.s she said yes lol!!!!!!!!

  • How sweet!

  • @ctarider665 so alton set the mood

    LOL This show is amazing.

  • I have tried that grilled cheese recipe, and it is excellent. And very fun to make.

  • you like being pressed between two warm, hard, black objects until you melt from the excitement?

  • Oh Boy that last part when he is making the grilled cheese WOW Sexy Voice ! HE IS SO SEXY !

  • hehe come to daddy - that's what I'm talkin about

    Agreed. AB is incredibly sexy.

  • YES~~~OMFG alton i love you....

  • "You must be looking for a fondue pot."

    "Yeah, how'd you know?"

"You've got cheesy dip written all over you."

  • "Loose, hot, proteins can't wait to get next to each other"

  • does he bring his chalkboard everywhere

  • i bet he does

  • lol "why would you dip cheese into cheese!?"

  • cause its good

  • haha. this truly sounds like a conversation a couple of high school football players would have.

  • Haha "why would you put cheese in the cheese?!"

    "I like cheese!"

  • I love W, and that AB brought his salt holder with him to the field.

  • "Let's not ruin this moment with words," said Alton Brown.

  • Mustard on grilled cheese?

  • It's good stuff. Just don't go overboard, or else it'll overpower the cheeses you use.

  • ha nice 70's reference. that was " groovy" man.

  • "Hello Hutch, Starsky parking the Torino?" LOL Great 70's reference.

  • Cheese, Like gretta garbo, likes to be alone.

  • "I love cheese!"

  • "Donut holes."

    "Rethink that."

    "Cheese cubes?"
