  • Listen to Simple Plan's Can't Keep My Hands Off You... It's nearly the same xD

  • Seriously? It's not even the same notes. It's comparable to the Journey song, but not this one.

  • the reason megaman has alot of music similar to rock songs is probably because the creator or the composers were fans nothing more stop saying the word steal

  • @RobsEpicFret also that the fact he is called rockman in japan plus his sisters name is roll so megaman/rockman+roll= rock n roll

  • @twosixthree yes, Rock n Roll:Rockman and roll, Blues(protoman) Treble(sound in amplifiers) bass(bass guitar or another sound of amplifier) Beat(the beat of the music) Duo(a band of two personel are called a duo) and many more

  • What's the REM song?

  • I'm inclined to believe they lifted this song over Journey. Yes the Journey song is exactly the same, but way slower, while this is almost identical speed to the Mega Man song. The obscurity of this song would help them "get away with it" too at the time.

  • REM first performed this song in April of 1980, 2 years before Journey's "Faithfully". However, the odds that Journey heard it before writing Faithfully is slim to none so no one stole anything.

  • People really need to learn the difference between 'stolen from' and 'made a tribute to.'

  • This is what you call paying homage!

  • hahah

    its true!!!

  • noo... the stole mabey from them or journey faithfull

  • megamans good though, who cares bout REM

  • They ALL stole it from Journey ;)

  • Similar theme is in Crazy Train.

  • I've noticed in the first 3 games every electric robot had a song similar to another IRL song...

  • i wonder which was created first? the game or the song? if the game was made first then they stole from megaman but then again it could be the other way around

  • you all know that classic games all have a history off using other artests music!

i think some artests secretly paid them [the devolopers] to put thier music in some of these games. to me it seems to obvoius to pass. but once again, thats my thought." less

  • pero que quede claro ke megaman fue primero que esas cancionees..!!!!!

  • Yep

  • nope

  • oh my god guys i just realized ALL (this may be disputed) SONGS USE NOTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHSAHAHA STOLEN FROM BRITNAY SPORES?!

  • elecman es un plagiador hay como 20 musicas parecidas

  • Rock and Roll

  • Rule 34, you sick freak.

  • Er...lovely. Hope you enjoy the horrifying sights of what you call pleasure.

  • the megaman melodi is more complex and have a bass melodi that the rem song dont.

  • Given the obvious hard rock and metal influences in the rest of the megaman songs, I'd say it's more likely it was inspired by Journey's Faithfully, and is likely the inspiration for the REM song as well.

  • People are always so shocked that more than one song can use the same eight notes. :P

  • @rowtow13 lol, but dude that's straight up "Faithfully" by Journey

  • Haha. The intro to That 70's Show also has the same melody for literally the first few seconds.

  • You mean that one Cheap Trick song?

  • Lol I Just love the door mat i want one!!!

  • but theres still the question of journey's faithfully n the megaman elecman song could u look in2 that

  • Megaman, released 1987.

Rem recorded the song in 1983 but it was released in a best-of much later on.

    No one stole anything.

  • @Juanoob Not to mention the fact Journey's song also sounds like this
