Does anyone realize that Chicago teachers work shorter years, 5 hour 45 minute days, and after a few years of teaching are making $100,000 a year? This makes quality time for learning and funding impossible. As a senator, Obama had the chance to make serious changes to this system. Instead, he persuades the union to fund and endorse them in his campaign for presidency and then repayed them back later in 2008. Then he walked away with nothing being "changed."

I'm a Democrat, and I would vote for Clinton over McCain in a heartbeat, but I don't want another 51-49 election where half the country is angry or feels left out. Obama offers the chance for a 60-40 clear mandate, and unlike Clinton, people don't already have their mind made up about him being unlikable and untrustworthy, as 47% of the US feels about Clinton.

Obama represents this country's future, a multicultural society that respects people from all walks of life. People complain that the youth are too ignorant to vote. How is this possible? We are by far one of the most educated and technologically advanced generations, if were so ignorant then why do we have to explain to our parents how to use a mouse.

The point of this ad is to counterbalance the 3AM ad that Billary is now running in Texas. It's a great comeback. Billary is just desparately trying another avenue of attack from her same tired old theme. I waiting for her Goldwater ad, with a child plucking a flower followed by a countdown to an atomic bomb explosion.

Obama's speeches are definitely filled with "buzz words" like change and hope that I too kinda ignore. The thing is, that's his strength: these types of speeches. It is then the public's responsibility to research his ideas on his website NOT in a campaign speech or 1 minute debate response.

I am not impressed with many things about Barack Obama. What I am impressed with most is the fact that he listens. He LISTENS to Americans. He will continue to do so. People follow him. We need some real leadership.
No matter of experience can prepare you for the white house, unless you are already there. What is most important is listening and leadership.
That is why Barack Obama has shown wisdom and clarity in his judegments.

Public school PREACHES that FDR and "The New Deal" were great, but I disagree. You do realize there is more to the story than you will find in textbooks, don't you? Socialism is popular to a lot of people, including a lot of scholars, however, I believe in conservative principles.
I believe we should help those who can't help themselves, not those who won't. I find it odd you want the same government that "failed" with Katrina to service your health needs, and grow in size and power.

Although I'm an Obama supporter, whoever is elected president in 2008, whether Democrat or Republican, should seek a certain moderate Republican as their Secretary of Defense.
I'm referring to former Secretary of State Colin Powell. When in the military, he was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and is far more qualified than any other person for the position.

Do you know why this is an honest endorsement of a genuine candidate from an honest general? Because the General is not repaying Obama for past favors. There's no quid-pro-quo.
