julie walters is a great actress, however i thought that the drama was overly simpathetic to mary whitehouse and very negative towards sir hugh greene, all sir hugh greene did was broadcast programmes that people wanted to see. if mary whitehouse didn't want to watch a certain programme then she could have easily watched something else rarther than try to oppress everyone else. she was militantly religious, homophobic, and xenophobic. thankfully her hateful oppression was short lived.
