  • 'adore you

  • Hey there is an Infj group on Facebook! It's worldwide! Hope u join

  • INFJ male here. I'm learning a lot by watching these INFJ vids. Thanks for the post. p.s. you kinda look like drew barrymore

  • I'm not an INFJ, but for anyone who's interested: typelogic (dot com) /infj (dot haych tee emm ell).

  • I'm INFJ .

  • I am a 15 year old INFJ female. I get the same feelings that I am different than everyone else. No one elsed seems to care about other people and their well being as much as I do. Being in high school makes it worse because I do not seem to fit in a "group." Instead, I feel that I am both part of all the groups, but also part of none of the groups. I feel an emotional connection to everybody, so I cannot pick just one group/clique like most people.

  • wow i was always like that. Being kinda cool with every group but never really being part of any of them. Just keep your head up and stay close to fambam.

  • @love4bergy

omg im an INFJ female too and in high school, and everything you said is all true about me. Do u have the same feeling where u feel like u dont belong anywhere and u just should have lived in another planet. I also see everyone's true self so its so difficult for me to let anyone in. I get along with everyone too and i feel like noone understands what i say because its too deep. Oh well anyways we should be proud to be unique , we are 1% of the population

  • @anoushka7878 hahaaa.. I often confuse people when I speak too. I love deep conversations, but I am never able to have them because people either think they are weird or they just don't understand them. Now I usually keep those sort of things to myself and just think deeply to myself.

  • @anoushka7878 I'm an INFJ too and when I was younger and in high school, I was exactly the same way. In fact, I always hung out with older people and ended up marrying someone who was 10 years older than me because I always felt so much older than everyone. I got along with everyone for the most part but never fit into any of the stereo-typical groups. I hung out with people who partied a lot but then also took advances classes. People still think I'm too serious and emotional.

  • Thx for posting. INFJ M here and interesting to see an INFJ female.

  • It's interesting to put types with videos. Now I recognize the INFJ voices you hear at poetry readings. Tired sounding and put upon. I wonder if David Duchuvny is one. Always moping around. The ESTP wife.

  • I am an INFJ and I really don't feel tired and put upon. To me that voice sounds like I feel when I do public stuff: I wonder what the repercussions of this video will be, and if anybody will ever really understand. One of the nicest things for me about studying the MBTI is finding out I'm not the only one like me.

  • Hi, Alex,

Good for you for doing this! I'm an INFJ, too, and just like you, when I learned about type, I found out I was "OK"... Our culture -- our "family", as it were, rewards and reinforced mostly ESTJ behavior, whether in work or in school. So, it's difficult for those created by God for different work to become "aware" of our special gifts, and then set about to learn just what they are and how to use them. Good for you! You're on the right track. Blessings... Linda

  • I am a guy, infj, and I like to help people too. I easily feel the pain of others, and feel sorry for them, even though they hardly ever seem to feel my pain. I get easily hurt, too easily, but hide it. I'm working on not being so reactive to others comments or actions, but maybe I just have to learn to live with it. One thing I did change, I used to present myself as a living sacrifice to others. It's okay to give, but not if it disrespects myself or my gift is disrespected by them.

  • No days, I give only when it is needed and asked for. People think I am trying to control them when I offer assistance. I never saw it that way before. I find that I can't treat people the way I treat myself. I think many infj's find that the case. But I still, as you do, try to be respectful and loving to others. I hope you do well in your career. :) Have a wonderful day, Ma'am.

  • You look like an INFP

  • Its good to find another infj!

I am infj, and discovered that my sister, sister-in-law, and husband are infjs as well. Amazing coincidence for me~!

  • Hi, Allie. You are a very brave person to put yourself right out there. Braver than I can ever be. I'm an INTJ, but I know the feeling of being sick when conflict is present, only I see it as a necessary evil. The thing is, is that we all have feelings, and many just like yours.

  • I am an INFJ as well. Well... at least I identify myself as an INFJ, but I frequently test as INTJ/INTP with online tests. It didn't happen before I chose to be a science stream student, I used to consistently get INFJ. After I began to focus on science I re-did the test and I get INTJ or INTP.

  • @andronerd I too am studying science (physics). Frequently was getting ENFP, but now am getting ENTJ/ENTP. I think studying a science can frequently overlap your type, as I feel more in sync with an ENFP profile but now get ENTP (whome as people I adore but do not feel similar in terms of the profile). I think science as a studious endeavor can frequently enhance your usage of Ni/Ti/Te processes to become more dominant. Dont be surprised if you get that, just go w/ what you relate to.

  • Ah. I'm an INFJ too.

I just took some type of test due to the boredome that engulfed me so.

  • when watching your video i was thinking, "i wish i actually knew people like her"....i find myself very different from most of my friends

  • This is a great video Alex! I myself am also an INFJ. There is actually a great site that you can join that will connect you with fellow infjs called personality cafe. Just go on google and search for the keyword personalitycafe. I met alot of my INFJ friends there and many more personalities. You can learn more about your personality as well as others. Just wanna help you out a fellow INFJ. :)

  • Oh? there is a website? Thankyou for the shared information and convenience. I see you are an INFJ as well. Bea (INFJ)

  • P.S.

this whole deal with mannerisms and speech is new to me. I would like to see more, can you suggest any videos?

  • I can =). I just added a video of myself talking. And since I'm an INFJ, you can see my mannerisms =D.

It's set to private though, so I sent you a friend invite (long story...it's nothing bad).

  • where is it?

  • INFJ here thanking you for this. I can relate what you have said. I so dont want to be INFJ so I have taken the test about twenty times over the course of a few years, perhaps more, and alas, INFJ is what I am. Why don't I like it? It's lonely. people are often drawn to me and I see stuff in them that I don't trust and thus don't let them in. Currently I am working on being JUST PRESENT and to catch my judging. wish me luck.

Good luck with school, sounds like you're on the right path.

  • @lovekisslaugh what is INFJ what it stands for ????

  • I'm INFJ

  • Male infj here =). Thank you so much for posting this video, it was really great to see another infj post a self-interview of sorts.

But while the "interview" itself was interesting, the thought behind the interview was even more interesting to me. Most people wouldn't think to post this kind of video. It would seem...silly to most. Either that, or self-absorbed lol. Yet you still posted it. I think that's one of the defining characteristics of the infj type...

  • ...Continued

We seem to care about things like this. We see that unexplainable importance behind self-identification systems like MBTI (probably the most INFJ-friendly typology system to date). We say "Oh my God! I'm an INFJ! YES! Finally! I KNEW it!". While someone else might say "So I'm an ESFJ. Hmm, cool".

I think that's why we feel different than everyone else. And if we're not good actors, we look different than everyone else too.

I think it's because we deeply care about things that most people find pointless/odd. While at the same time, we don't care about things that most people care about (depends on the individual, of course). Which would of course, make it extremely difficult for us to make friends. For instance, psychology (Jung was an INFJ). Or our call towards philosophy/spirituality (Ghandi).

Speaking of which, what is your spirituality? I'm Metaphysical/Philopsychospiritual.

    5/5 stars

  • Thanks for posting this! I'm an INFP but my husband is an INFJ. I will have to show him this later. You have the same quiet, even voice that he does. :) It's very calming.

  • very interesting. i am also an infj. i also have the intuition for other people. i even think we have a similar way of speaking. Kind of abrupt, and hesitative. I ve read that INFJs have a very particular way of walking, which i have. Short rapid steps, close to the ground (i often trip when i walk) so i just wanted to say, i believe in those tests. I dont see them as bullshit at all. And by the way, i feel rather isolated from the rest of the world, just as you. Bye R
